    As for the OP, man, this site is just weird: to me it looks like a troll or flamebait OP with having little to do with the game, yet here it is, no mod intervention at all O_o

    I don't know... Darkpony, as an example, was a pretty rabid supporter of SWTOR and got a lot of kudos for saying he got it wrong. Some will always gloat, sure, but you can cut a lot of it off by simply saying'hey, I got it wrong'. A lot of folks respect that.

    The 'wrong' in my point isn't hyperbole though. I was really talking about the rabid SWTOR fanboi that was so common pre-launch, insulting others and arguing for it with venom, only to unsub 1-2 months later while quietly removing their sig. 

    Obviously those guys discovered that they were wrong and that the game for them wasn't the nirvana of perfection they had spent months arguing it was.

    Super duper, you weren't here during the hype wars last year, where many people were saying things like SwToR would be a wow killer,it would change MMOs forever, it was revolutionary etc. I think that is what was being referred to, if you had been here you would be aware of that.

    You mean just like any MMO pre release? just like how it is happening with GW2 now? maybe they genuienyl believed that and are having fun with the game..maybe they are not posting here anymore because they are still playing and not bothered with forums anymore? assuming that 'they all were 100% wrong' and they should man up and apologise is just childish.

    I bought DA1, awesome. Bought DA2, never finished it.

    hehe, I much rather hope those people were right to trust in Bioware rather than think they are wrong and hope Bioware fails. I want a successful and most importantly, fun game. I don't care who is right or wrong.

    They tried their successful singleplayer forumla and applied it to a MMORPG, which was pretty dumb. They made a half assed multiplayer game which looks and feels like a singleplayer game. So it is while both but it achieves nothing.

    They could've had much better combat, but they fought it will be dumb to oppose the WoW formula. Leveling up wasn't fun, story wasn't that great. Honestly, swtor was just a little better than Dragon Age 2. Branching wasn't that branching afterall.

     

    All in all, it was a alright singleplayer game.......with a subscription.

    How much WoW could a WoWhater hate, if a WoWhater could hate WoW?
    As much WoW as a WoWhater would, if a WoWhater could hate WoW.
