How is it not cheaper than TOR was at release? Maybe it's a good thing you feel that $50 is more inline for the quality, since that's exactly what you are paying, no?
ToR was a poor example on my part. I realized the price of TSW I was looking at included optional items and was not the standard box price. Other than ToR, I dont know of any other MMO that was more expensive than TSW so the original comment that all MMO's in the last 5 years were more expensive is about as flawed as my example of ToR was. I do however thank you for finding my mistake.

The only way to get optional items is to select a package on Funcom's site. The base game is $49.99. Now let's look at some games that have come out in the past 5 years that were 60 bucks or more at release: Aion, WAR, TERA, SWTOR, Rift.
Can you give me one that was 50 bucks for the game?
The reason you don't know of any other MMO that was more expensive than TSW is because you have done zero research on the matter. That doesn't make my comment flawed.
