I've never had brand loyalty for Blizzard like I did for say Bioware. After recent debacles with nearly every game I've played, I'll buy a game by any company until 6 months to a year after release if I hear constant good word of mouth on it.
Yes I will continue to play wow because stupidly like many folks I signed up to the annual pass thinking blizzard was going to pump out more content faster (quoted from the then most recent blizzcon). So I will be purchasing MOP however it will be my last expansion I buy unless blizzard changes what they are doing for the better. How customers of wow and diablo have been treated is nothing short of in disdain and I will remember.

You are communicating your feelings toward blizzard in two ways:
1. Holding a grudge and posting on forums
2. Buying their next expansion
Which do you think will be more likely to make them change their practices?
If this is about principle, I wouldn't buy that expansion if I were you. But I also noticed you said wouldn't be buying any further expansions, but have you cancelled your sub? You don't have to wait until your time is up - you'll still have access for the remainder of the year. But I think cancelling in the middle of a year long sub is something they might actually track if enough players do it.

Rule of thumb: businesses never try to lock you into a long-term contract if they think you're going to like what's about to happen.

I Have not played or kept track with WoW since I lvled to 85 a week after Cata. How much content have they added since Cata?
I'm curious

Or you could buy the expansion. That'll show 'em.
Great. I will eagerly wait for that then. After D3, i doubt i would ever play a MMO without some lobby aspects.
