I think Blizz would be more than happy to match D3's performance, selling 10M copies in less than 3 months.
They can be happy all they want chasing $$$ but it won't result in an amazing game.
Who said Titan will be amazing? Titan will be all about maximizing money.
Oh my mistake. I thought this was supposed to be something amazing with how much they are spending on make it. So another buck grabbing game. Good for them I guess.
Whilst researching about Ensemble Studios I stumbled upon the 3 sources to date and the end all be all explanation to what Titan really is!!! (hints of eccentricity)

it will be a game about fluffy bunnies and you cant die so people dont ahve any downtime when playing.. Also so people dont have to grind different levels they remove all character progression and give you every bit of gear from the start..
1. A game designed akin to WoW but in some other role Sci-fi, Steampunk, western and ect.
2. An built in RMAH like Diablo 3!
3. Hubbed and instanced worlds more than ever!
4. More single player mode!
5. More suits making game decisions and not devs!
6. More Butchered lore like now a devil can be a light healer via some dumb higher calling ( Like Tauren becoming Paladins).
7. More failure clones like em if they're successful!
8. More bad playerbase who feel entitled to something!
9. More carebare PvP!
10. Bah and the list goes on!
If so .. i will play it ..
1) Good .. a sci-fi or different setting with WOW polish .. and amount of content .. count me in.
2) Good to be able to sell my stuff .. as i do in D3.
3) Yeah .. i like instance dungeons .. don't forget good LFD tools
4) as long as there are enough co-op dungeons, i don't mind some SP content.
5) Who cares who make the decisions if the game is fun.
6) what lore? If it is a new IP, there is no established lore.
7) Who cares about clones? I don't have to play them. But if this game sells like D3, it will be a huge success.
8) entitled to fun? Count me in ... that is the job of an entertainment product .. to entertain!
9) don't care about pvp
Good for you glad to know some will play the game, except me your money your choice, just not mine1
I like games with
1. Depth
2. open world
3. non-instanced pvp and dungeons
4. diplomatic/religious/culture defeats
5. crafted gear that is just as good as dungeon gear
6. Where my decisions actually have an effect on the world
7. player housing ( though I've never played a mmo with one yet except vanguard )
8. great community
9. and ect
Never said I didn't like blizzard's products its just that they are heading a different direction that i like them to be! It's like EA sports use to love the Madden and Live franchises but they became stale and the same rehash, same can be said for Square Enix!
No near future MMO in the horizon for me except to get the GW2 Collector's Edition and that's it never to be opened!
Below is where we can disscuss and come up with new ideas for Sandparks!

Sure .. people like different things. For example,
I don't really care about an open world. I want games with good scripted instanced, and options to match up with others quickly.
I don't really care about crafting, and certainly not player housing.
I have enough friends, games need to be fun first. I don't really care if a game has a good community, as long as it is fun. Worst case is that i can play it either with my exisitng friends/families, or solo.
So far, all blizz games (including D3, SC2,..) are fun for me. So i will keep an eye out for this one.
7) Who cares about clones? I don't have to play them. But if this game sells like D3, it will be a huge success.
I just wanted to point out that if it sells like D3 it will probably be a huge failure because everyone pretty much quit D3 after the first or second month, in fact most of these players that have quit have even become anti-D3 (just look at amazon rating as an example). Its fine for D3 since its a one time fee game so it was hugely successful, but for a game that is based on either subscription or microtransactions to make their money, everyone quitting the game after the first month would not be much of a success.
Only question is whether or not Titan can actually overcome WoW. As no other game has so far despite many developers trying, I am curious if Blizzard will fall victim to its own success.

Poetic Justice.
Poetic Justice.
it will be some facebook-esque game
with WoW they have sucked dry the hordes of ADD kids, and at last the game is slowly fading away
now they will target the soccer moms
