There is nothing to "comeback" to. You are trying to prove that ArenaNet has been comprimised instead of it being on the players end. You have yet to do this.
Actually what I was saying is that not all hacked accounts are the users faults and gave you examples of hacked accounts that had nothing to do with the users. You were the one trying to wiggle in some sort of debate.

Yes I did, and if somone was putting trojans and bots from all these other games and websites to know your exact profile they wouldn't just stop at gw2. They would have your CC info your email adress, maybe even your paypal and amazon/ebay accounts. Stealing your slot on a 60$ game would be the lest of your problems. Also it wouldnt have happend day 1 if it was just A email account problem.
How exactly would they have CC info?
Why wouldn't it happen day 1? If they have your email and password that you reused from another game/website/whatever, why would they need to wait to use it?
[mod edit]
How am I a fanboy? I asked you simple questions to statements you made. I assumed you could back those statements up?
No other company is hiding in somone elses forums right now making this thier top 5 priorities everyday. If thier not breached then why waste the time? [mod edit]
I don't know what to think, you acknowledge ANet is giving top priority to those who got hacked but then twist it negatively.
There have been years of data being mined from previous games, forums and websites for emails and passwords, no wonder a few thousand got caught in this initial wave of information checking. It might seem like an unacceptable number but you have to take into account the total pool of players, in which case surpasses a million. If there were 10000 hacked, which I highly doubt (so I won't lose faith in humanity), we would be looking at a 1% hacked rate.
Meanwhile, Bioware really deserves some props for releasing their game with a strong security question system, you can't really trust security to others, in this case the players. ANet didn't prioritize their authentication system and didn't release with it fully functional, so the players with the weakest security did get hacked.
Thats nice, why did you come to the GW2 forum to tell us this?
Hacked accounts are the USERS FAULT.
Yes so I guess Anet having little to no systems in place to stop it is the players fault as well ?
Your CC get's stolen that is your fault , so hopefully your bank allows any payments on it cus hey it's not their fault right ?
Regardless of who's fault hacked accounts are .. Anet was/is lacking in protective measures their end as well ... Two wrongs don't make a right I know but both sides Anet/players need to fix their shit .. Thinking Anet is faultless is just being delusional
So, I have a GW account that I havnt used since, oh god, a little under a year after the launch of the first GW... hell I havn't even gone to the GW/GW2 websites. I have no wish to play the game. At all. So then why, after how many years of inactivity, have I been getting GW account password requests spammed to my email? Someone gonna tell me a hacker has me on a list that I might have been put on years and years and years ago, just in the hopes to bait GW accounts now? I don't even care, really. But the fact GW2 launches and now I get password resets spammed to the email I used to create my original GW account, after complete inactivity for years, and people are saying A-Net can't possibly be at a little bit of fault here, is a little odd to me.

Yes. If they had been hacked, why would they need to reset your password? They would already have it!
