And let's be honest - the pvp is a 1000x better than GW2. So that's reason enough to keep subbed.

Well considering that EA just did a server merge I would imagine that servers would be packed?  Their new Mega Server technology even had server queues with no real differeence in people joining / playing. .. just longer waits for existing customers to log on.

PVP in SWTOR stinks.  There is no large scale PVP, it's only tiny instanced PVP.  How is this better?  The pvp maps in GW2 are huge and the SWTOR maps are the size of a small building (like HuttBall) or a small town hub (like the others).

    So lets be honest? lol

just one big lol, pvp in swtor is not all instanced when you compare with gw2 pvp. Do you even play gw2???? There is no open world pvp in gw2! Only instanced wvw pvp, something like pvp dungeon

even if you compare the pvp with instanced pvp. it doesn't change the fact that swtor pvp sux. atleast in gw2 you have fun doing those instance pvp. i mean wvw 2 weeks to finish? compared to playing dam hutballs or the new pvp zone forgot it was called. it's plain and borring

Never missed them. And I'm already fully happy with game. But if this gives more options to others, have nothing against.

I just started SWTOR a few weeks ago myself, I only avoided it because of the constant bashing of the game. To be honest, I find it by far better than any other MMO as far as the leveling process goes. I haven't reached endgame yet, but I have months worth of leveling to hold me over until the game is fleshed out more with content. The Legacy system they have rewards alts more than any other game I played, and the 2 classes I've played so far (both on the Empire side) have completely different stories and have high replay value.

You are right dude. Do not read about game in forums or you will lose will to play. Game is awesome and for sure  have best class stories from any game. Do not read what hypocrites write, for example gw2 comunity was spitting so hard on swtor open world pvp but on the end  gw2 do not even have open world pvp, but now is everything great and awesome. WOW have around 10 mil subscribers and how many post you see from wow players??? Maybe 3, 4 in month and why is that? Because they play and do not care what people write on forums. But what you will see are fans of casual game like last ''big one'' because they are always left disapppointed and have nothing better to do :)

Well did i started to write on gw2 forum about swtor like you always do? lol. Why you even come here to sing us a song about ''how good'' gw2 is??? It is topic about swtor and you should go to write about your favorite game on gw2 forum

These changes don't even register on the "meh" portion of the scale for me.  Why not try to address the real problems with the game.  The ones that actually made people quit.  This fluff crap won't cut it.

uhm if you read i didn't use just gw2 as an example. i posted about ffxiv realm reborn also. also i have stated i am playing 2 games, that i play eve more then i play gw2. you need to gather your resources more before you even post stupid comments like these you just posted. or is gw2 the only thing you saw and refused to see the other examples i used in my arguement? lol you make me laugh kid

also i'd like to add posting on forums doesn't mean your bashing the game. these threads are made to post your opinion. what country are you from that doesn't allow you freedom of speech?

Big does not necessarily = good. Some of the best 'PVP' you will ever find in modern video gaming is the smaller-scale stuff you see in competitive first person shooters (counter strike), and moba's (dota). These are 5v5 games played on a limited selection of relatively small maps (or in the case of dota - 1 single map). Increasing the scale doesnt instantly make everything better.

Now - you may prefer larger scale PVP for whatever reason, and thats perfectly fine and you're entitled to that opinion. However, attempting to pass off your opinion as fact as for why one is better than the other isnt going to fly. I'm not saying GW2 PVP is better, or SWTOR PVP is better. All I'm saying is that some of the best PVP around is small-scale, and that the size and scale dont determine quality at all.

You are an interesting person :-)

SWTOR WZ's are varied and dynamic .. please explain?

All 4 of SWTOR's warzones have a completely different playstyle and varied mechanics is what I believe he was alluding to. I really dont think you could argue that they're not more varied than GW2's pvp arenas.

When I compair the quality of game between the 2 big MMO's launched in the past year, SWToR and GW2. I quickly come up with, why am I paying to play SWToR when GW2 is better quality and B2P?  GW2 has even promised new content coming and we are getting it for free.

A change in payment type doesn't suddenly make the poor design decisions, bad game engine design, and poor quality control better.  The reasons people aren't flocking back or staying has nothing to do with the payment method.  Changing it won't fix the game.  If people won't play it for extended periods of time when it's free, you'd think EA/Bioware would get the hint.  But they didn't really listen to any feedback before either.

Ah, well I'll be playing Darkfall Unholy Wars. Hope to see you there.

You say you just started playing.  You say you enjoy the leveling part.  You say you haven't reached end game.  And you say you play Empire.

This makes me think you didn't read all that "constant bashing" all that well.  Enjoy the game while you can, even though I doubt it will take you months to reach level cap unless you never do any pvp and are still trying to get people to do heroic 4 quests.  You'll see soon enough about the end game.

The legacy system didn't really appeal to me, but it does play to the strength of the game.  The leveling.  Though, after you do it once on a class and make an alt of the same class( like trying a gunslinger and a scoundrel), you'll see there isn't any real depth to your "personal story" and that if you reroll the same spec you'll see your choices don't matter as much as you'd think.  Also, the legacy weapons are only good for a few levels and you level out of them rather quickly.  Unless they changed them or something.  They were not worth it before.  And, neither were half of the other legacy "perk" purchases.  You should be able to find lengthy posts about them on the forums if they haven't been deleted.

You also don't have to deal with Republic armor choices being Empire.   A little thing, but, another thing on the list.

How do you feel about super mario brothers datacron version for stat items?

How do you feel about engine performance in high traffic?

Load screens to loading areas followed by more load screens?  Or did they finally stick to their word and remove those?

How do you feel about runes forcing you to follow light or dark paths while color crystals that offer neutral options don't?

How do you feel about pvp?  I'm guessing you never got to try Ilum.

I could go on, but it's not worth it.  Basically, before you jump to defend the game, give it some time.

When you said pvp is better than GW2 you lost all credibility.
