Am I to assume by your post that you are one of the rational ones?

Considering you judge people by their spending habits? Considering others have already shown extreme bias, painting people in broad strokes, intolerance worthy of XBox Live and many many other things which quite frankly make what little faith in humanity I still have wane, yes. I am.

And thus you have painted yourself a hypocrite

Please, can you also provide all with links you download dvdriped/cam movies, cracks, and games? Thanks :) Also what restaurant you are going to? I would like food for free too :)

French Laundry? If they provide free food, i am more than happy to eat.

It is about competition. If a company offer me good free fun, why shouldn't i take it? I don't apologize for how i use entertainment.

Don't make paying sounds like a virtue. More like you are being swindled without knowing it.

Not all but i would bet most f2pers are just there for the free ride and the companies know this. These f2pers that are just there for the free ride this will be the reason we will never see another really good mmo. Companies won't invest into a large project just to let freeloaders whine and cry its not free enough. The f2per who are lazy and have this entitlement mentality that they should get everyrhing have ruined mmos.

They get you in the door with "Hey, man, it's free, sure you don't want to try it?  Come on, get in the van, you'll love it".

Then you get in the van and they're like, "Oh yeah, we forgot to tell you, only the first five minutes is free, if you want anything else, you'll have to pay"

Which game you are talking about?

I have played DDO, STO, and PS2. None limit the time you play, and i am having fun without spending a dime. What are you talking about?

Some people just like spout baseless nonsense, like a certain popular "news" channel I dont watch.

I don't know why you respond to his posts.  He admitted he doesn't pay a dime towards the development of the games he plays, which means he's not even WORTH responding to. If you pay for any of your games and you're responding to this welfare warrior, then you're wasting money on a freeloading dirtbag.

I dunno, maybe because I think people who spread lies are worse than the freeloaders.

Show me where I lied.  I said that F2P games withhold parts of the game from you unless you play.  Name one F2P game that doesn't withhold something such as XP, PVP, Instanced content, or anything unless you pay.

Where's the lie in that?  They all do it.  It's a "twist your arm until you pay" scheme.  I'd rather just pay up front and play the game than have them dangling carrots in my face all day every day about what I can't have or do until I shell out more and more bucks.

     Well how about this:

None twisted my arm, therefore that was a lie

None are only 5 minute free so thats a lie.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it is bad.

If I was one of them I would not rather even say it out loud but I get it ..  BUT the worst downside of F2P are those freeloaders, those trolls, haters, spammers you see all around just to fill a spot inside the game so you dont feel playing it alone. In P2P you have so much less of these because you dont need them :)

Okey you take the food from French Laudry. But it is normal for you to go normal restaurant and demand free food also? xD because thats what a lot of F2P fans do, they go to P2P games and demand F2P because of something.

you got him! It is a free world. I can always stop playing before paying a dime. And that 5 min comment is just hilarious.

If I was totally ignornat about something I wouldn't go out of my way to make sure everyone knew it. but....to each their own I guess.

Why do i need to demand anything? There are plenty of companies pracitcally beg you to pay their F2P games? The issue is to demand more F2P, the issue is there is not enough time to even play the F2P that is available.

You got the whole thing wrong.

Ahem, those games were released before the f2p model was even around.
