Avoid this game like the plague - it is seriously getting bad, very, very - almost laughably, bad.

The majority of the game is ruled by a badly coded random number generator which means that aiming and shooting can have any result (including shots just simply vanishing). Vision mechanics are the same and whilst there is supposed to be a method to it, it exists purely on paper and as with most of the game mechanics, the RNG rules them all.

The game is rigged so that even matches are rare, and even when they are balanced, the RNG favours one team over the other.

WG.net are slowly forcing people to use gold ammo to remain competitive in lower tier games, and most tanks are so badly nerfed when they are first bought that grinding is a necessity.

Which leads onto the grind. It become very grindy, very quickly. After Tier 4 will find yourself playing the same tank over and over just to get that one additional module. Playing several hundred games in a vehicle to get a mod is not unusual so be prepared to grind and grind and grind.

It never used to be this way and once upon a time, WoT was fun and enjoyable, but then the russian owners got greedy and now its a joke of game.

There is little to no historical accuracy in the game (you will have better luck finding authentic history at the Museum of Creation Sciences than you will in WoT) and most of the newer tanks are fantasy creations based on since pulled down wikipedia entries.

There are much better games out there - War Thunder being one - and really, I would never give these idiots any of my money ever again.

The following is a quote from the game rules:
"2. Prohibitions, restrictions and conditions of use, for all game chats and channels.
You agree not to do any of the following while using the Game or any Wargaming.net game chat or channels.
2.01. Excessive Profanity and Inappropriate language is not welcome. It is suggested to ensure that the censor filter is switched on. The censor filter is not an excuse to break the existing game and chat rules, and excessive profanity will still be moderated.
2.03. Insults, personal attacks, abuse or harassment are not tolerated on any level."
This translates to all chat rooms, forums, and communication with support staff.
I agree this type of behavior reminds me of League OF Legends players if you ask me chat suspension deserved.
Although I also agree that the Rules need to be properly Updated.
2.01 says (Excessive Profanity) or Inappropriate language is not welcome so if I were to be playing the game and say something like I don't give a *Censored* or Oh *Censored* my cat knocked over my coke then this language should not be a ban worthy offense notice how it says (excessive profanity.)
Although 2.03 is likely the one you were banned on insulting other players with the 3 letter word and such.

I got a 3 day once, but only because I called SerB a so and so :)

It was worth every day of the ban (though I didn't realise I had been banned until day 6 LOL)
