Scarlet Blade is rated M for mature. If a kid is playing it, where are his/her parents?. I doubt they looked at the game and said, oh my kid is playing video games and then just go away. By looking at the game you automatically notice the almost nude girls and make him quit and delete the game. Parents, where are you? The company already did his job my rating it M for mature. Now its your turn to watch over your kids activities (specially on the internet)

So sad and so true-  it is not ok to let the computer babysit and locks on doors - sheesh. Say it together... Columbine. Thats exactly what happened there and in a lot of the other US mass shooting cases. Parents were AWOL.

Columbine has nothing to do with this. The Columbine shooting was something of a whole different factor. Please don't put negative spins on the gaming industry because some nut job who loved computers goes crazy. What are you the next Jack Thompson?

no no not the games- the bad parents - i apologize for any confusion.

As other's have stated the game has a M rating, now it's up to the parent's to do thier job. The only other thing the esrb could probably do is make Aeria put a AO rating on the game which I believe would make it illegal in the U.S. Imho people need to stop being so prudish.

I wonder if parent who say " you have no right to tell me how to raise my kids " would be ok with "you are responcable for how they turn out..if they go to the gas chamber you go with them "

Totoal freedom to do what you want should come with some accountability. Right now when they turn out bad and we see what some of these parents were doing we just call it tragic and move on.

Having recently watched some adult media I am a bit puzzled as to why many are referring to SB as an adult game. SB is somewhere between Porky's and Lady Gaga. Is the standard for what is adult lowered when it comes to online games? SB is a bit saturated with suggestive content but that's all. Suggestive. I just don't see the moral panic about this. Parents control what their kids have access to. If they can't be bothered to find out what they're doing...You can't legistlate behaviour. It's funny that bodies hanging from trees and mass killing doesn't lead to as much drama as displaying jiggleboobs does. The internet consuming masses need to grow up.

Seems like some parents prefer their kids to live in a plastic bubble and since they do...everyone else

    should too.

"Kids" go into 2nd Life and state being adult then go to the adult sector and watch avatars copulating and prefroming oral sex, fully pornographic. Same rating M 17+. SB is TAME for a 'Adult Game' and was pretty much 'dumbed down' for an 'Adult' Game.

I'm about to leave it after getting the 'underware unlock' and seeing the fish scaled crotch (I did a casino sign in and got 4214CP for it). IMHO If they state it as 'adult' it should not be censored (I mean show genital depiction is nothing compared to what other 'adult' games do)

I'm a bit annoyed at the half-way Aeria did the game, if your going to 'sell sex' in a game and say 'adult' is should not be half-way

I can assure you Aeria will be getting no money from me until they change thier attitude.

AND bring in a true yellow blonde hair colour not the puke green/yellow currently.

(You can gripe about that now, Mr. "Stop with the blonde already" poster)

I voted for the last one, because it was moronic, like the internet police were going to come to my house, and the parent one said to throw them in jail....

Get a grip....Parents need to be parents, plain and simple...

Gotta, go the cops are coming because I chose one of the moronic choices in this poll.

Parents should xtthos, many do, many don't. Fact is children play this game, therefore adults playing with children in this context knowing children are behind the chars - really?

Censorship is what parents should do, sometimes its ok to say that's wrong.

And if we think something is wrong enough that parents should censor, then we should support that, not send mixed messages to children and perverts alike.

FBI is federal in state lines only.

Unless it is related to terrorism, then they go wherever they want.

You could have a credit card check, but doesn't stop kids from slipping that from their parents' wallets. Of course you can leave that up to the family, credit card check would stop some kids.

I agree with censorship, it's the responsibility of society (including parents) to protect children.

You get calluses on your hands from laboring work, going to the gym, or something like using a pull up bar. Soft callus free hands are far more likely to be the case here.

It should be the parents job to monitor what kids are doing on the internet, its a difficult thing to do anyway. Each country would have differant laws and demands on what type of ID would be acceptable.

Besides which I do not think its a massive problem anyway, I do not know the exact level of nudity in this game. It looks crass and crude and not something I would choose to play but still it doesnt look that bad, some pixelated boobs and C-strings are not all that serious. A few internet clicks can soon summon far worse.

Kids (boys in particular) will giggle and want to see some boobs, its natural and unless people are using this game for grooming purposes its not a "peado" issue either. 13yr olds wanting to play a boobies game is not child abuse.

Still that said unless devs can ever police adult themed games it will always be a difficult subject, look at the fuss that sex game caused on Steam Greenlight.

    Currently playing:

EVE online (Ruining low sec one hotdrop at a time)

    Gravity Rush,
    Dishonoured: The Knife of Dunwall.

    (Waiting for) Metro: Last Light,
    Company of Heroes II.

"Protect Our Kids" has always been the classic approach vector for panic preachers, yas?

Self-pity imprisons us in the walls of our own self-absorption. The whole world shrinks down to the size of our problem, and the more we dwell on it, the smaller we are and the larger the problem seems to grow.

    is that so.

Now what does some 8 year old learn from god of war ?

You think he goes and shoot someone with machine gun ?

But imagine that 8 year old doing sex ,he dont need those tanks and explosives for that.

theres tiny minis playing war games with wooden guns all over the world ,would you give them wooden dildo and tell them : play with this with your friends, you can be the punisher.

So, did ESO have a successful launch? Yes, yes it did.By Ryan Getchell on April 02, 2014.

Dude! Why are you going on about wooden dildos?! You just jumped to the next level. There are no dildos in SB. not even in the cash shop.

That made me laugh to be honest.  What would they call the item they'd sell?   The Sex Splinter?
