Baby characters again?? Stop with this please

Again and again same old ''baby like'' characters in asian mmo's, why? I can understand that people play with small races like gnomes for example in WOW, but when you look close at wow gnome you see small adult character and in asian mmo's you see little human babies. It is just so stupid and unrealistic to see little babies riding on huge mounts and swinging huge swords. This looks like a very nice and good game but this character creation destroyed everything for me .I remember time from Tera when i came to one field and 10-15 little girls in miniskirts attacked me, damn that was so retarded and stupid that i deleted Tera at the same moment.

It's culture differences.
I pitched the game to eastern developer once, they like the game mechanics, but when I mention how I want art style to be like western, they said no right away... they did took some of the concept and added into their existing game, though...
You're not going to stop this, It's a different culture.
It's not very easy changing an entire culture.
If you don't like it, avoid the asian gaming market, i suppose.

Well than this game is simply not for you. I am glad that you had the ability to test it before you purchased it. It seems that all to often fellow gamers regret their purchases.

Imagine a 15 foot oger comes across your 6 foot warrior and you kill him.... That would be silly.
Imagine huge Elephant in Africa and small hunter with compound bow.... well he could kill him but now imagine the child of that hunter 3-4 years old with same compound bow, can he kill that Elephant?

Well said. I am not a fan of Asian art style in MMO's nor the rainbow and puppy dogs color palate but like you said, that's their gig and all the more power to them. I personally love the gritty, dirty and bleak feel to western MMO's.
Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!

I think you and others need to get over the 'baby like' characters in games. Whether it be a dwarf, gnome, or even just a race of babies that always stays that way, get over it. If you can't control your thoughts enough to see virtual characters as something other than sexual icons (regardless of appearing age), then seek therapy. I've known many girl gamers that say races like these are cute and fun to play with. So clearly the race designer's target audience has some fans. You were most likely not meant to be one of them. The other 'X' amount of races were designed for you to play. Now go back, and see what you can find.

Also, this is a rebooted game, how did you not realise it would have exactly the same races as the original FF14?
you mean to say "children given the body structure of adult". whether it is a child or a child given the body of an adult, it is still pedophilia, whether it is chinese or japanese or korean or western developer, these characters are designed to attract pedophiles. in no way it is justifiable and that is why whether it is wow or eq or some eastern asian game; i always avoid playing characters like gnome or dwarf or halfling and/or character that are designed like this.
