The reason behind my idea is I want to include more RPG systems, balance the positives of a mount with some negatives and make a fun minigame.

I know it sounds simple that your mount never gets put away into your inventory but it has a huge pay out in the RPG immersion department. Right now most game mounts are just pretty speed buffs.

Balancing the positives with some negatives would make the people (I included) that think having mounts makes the game too easy and ruins the sense of size of the world. Mounts could have stats and the higher the stats the more upkeep you need to keep the mount performing at that level. Maybe at level 10 you might be able to buy a nag. That nag can barely carry you any faster than you walking but it requires minimal maintaince, it would also scare off easyly or die quickly. What about that magical flying unicorn you just got? It requires special food like Skittles only farmed from Kithcor forest.

I am overall all for this idea in general.  I'm always for gameplay sort of 'enforcing' roleplay just by the nature of the gameplay causing you to behave how you would in a 'realistic' situation.  Like how in reality, owning and taking care of a horse in medieval times would have its advantages, but would also requires extra work and/or resources to maintain.  I like having pros and cons for every choice so this is a really nice idea OP
