    Doesn't take a very clever person to see that OP has an agenda and for whatever reason he thinks he can affect the opinion of thousands of players to discard ESO and go play another mmo that he has chosen to hype-ride instead.

     

    Well, good luck with that, OP. Stop some time to think if this is all worth your time, though, because you are nobody and I personally couldn't care less about what you think.

    My opinion is my own. I respect all other opinions and views equally, but keep in mind that my opinion will always be the best for me. That's why it's my opinion.

    I am just critiquing what I saw in the Quakecon video, and engaging in conversation with fellow ESO enthusiast.

    disagree with the OP, IMO this game looks like the best themepark in development by far in look, feel, and game systems.

    also, i am sure the combat animations will be tweaked and upgraded in the next 6 months or more before the game actually launches.

    I was really hyped for this game until I saw this video.  The realistic graphics looks extremely dated, like sub unmodded Skyrim level!  It is bad, and it isn't even out yet.  This is why the realistic graphics style doesn't work for MMOs!

    Secondly, the combat looks absolutely atrocious. It is spammy, and the animations are horrid.

    I also failed to see any resemblance of the trinity within that dungeon they ran.  It just looked like 4 people playing solo.

     

    I got to say my hype for this game went from 8 to about 4 after this video!

    What do you guys think?

    I'm going to assume you played MMO's before because you're on MMORPG.com ... so you HAVE to understand that this isn't to be expected to look as outrageously amazing as skyrim or better even! The gfx looked great for any MMO I've seen recently. You also have to realise that thousands of players if not more (hoping) will be playing at one time and on one screen possibly for the PvP! Take all this into account and quit being a dramatic girl. It's like a post I saw the other day about EQNext about him not wanting to play because he saw a caster with pants on instead of straight robe! He said he wouldn't play because of this..YOU FUCKIN KIDDIN ME?? THAT'S the one reason you chose to not play that sack of shit of a game. I figured it was the game being completely different from any other EQ..or not giving an old time fan what he wanted. This Post is as silly as the previous post I just explained (sorry for the tangent) but it's the truth ffs. If you want AMAZING gfx go play a single player RPG like Read Dead Redemption or Skyrim or Crysis..

    ..and thats where posting history allows us to call out on the double standard and the fact that you are really not discussing anything.

    1) You say graphics arn't as important as function by supporting someone who said that, but then spend so much time bashing the graphics both here and on the WildStar Forums..not the sign of someone who doesn't think graphics are of utmost importance....and you've been doing this since your first post on your newly created account.

    2) You point out when people are attacking you, but when we see posts in the Wildstar forums of you doing exactly the same which I highlighted there, then I guess it doesnt matter.

    3) You say you have no agenda, but then you litter the Wildstar forums with insults about ESO.

    So yea, excuse me if some of us are suspicious of your 'engaging in conversation with ESO enthusiasts'.
