anyone playing ffxiv tonight

in Final Fantasy XIV

not had much luck   myself tonight with the lets play ffxiv online lucky dip lol.

    Yes, I do plan on playing tonight.  Already got a few hours in earlier today.

    the servers have been fine since 9pm last night (gmt) been playing it all day and loving it

    If someone is talking in general chat in a language you dont understand, chances are they're not talking to you. So chill out and stop bitching about it!

    been trying to logg into game now for 5 hours :))))) just keep geting the message  SERVER FULL.

    Ya same thing for me on excaliber, but its always like this at this time of day.  I wont likely get on after work...

    better enjoy the playing time now.  after launch servers are gonna be screwed for a few more days :)  and the nerd raging will begin

    And this is why servers are full.  Don't blame Precusor.  SE response to heavy traffic load has only exasperated the issue.

    People get in, never log out because servers can be full with know info on when you can get in.

    Everyone come to the Faerie server, it was really easy for me to get into right after my classes let out at like 3:30

    I'm going to try. If I can't log in, I'll just play something else. I wont lose any tears or sleep over it. Things will settle down eventually.

    My server (Sargatanas) has had so many issues with being full. Today it has no queue and you can get right on. Which is crazy for a legacy server. So I'm pretty sure unless your server is the largest server, you should be getting in relatively easy today. I'm pretty sure they fixed the issues last night with the maintenence around 1030 PST

    yep the is no auto logg out on people afk for more than 10 mins plus no q line i have never seen anything like it.

    I'm not like that. When I finished playing just leaving the game, because others are waiting. I'm aware of that, but I see how people could be selfish in this joyless situation.

    Ive been trying for the last few hours to get on Excalliber but getting its full error.  Seems prety much impossible to get on there most likely untill tom morning.

    LOL! I made sure to logged onto Excalibur early this morning and played for several hours. I logged out only when I knew I was done for the day because the chance of getting back on later this evening was zero, zilch, nada.

    Bought and downloaded the game today and played for 2 hours tonite (i live in europe), although I had to make a char on an NA server (Midgardsormr), all the european servers where unavailable/full, I had no problems whatsoever to login and play for about 2 hours. loved it, and will play again tomorrow when I have the time for it. Was a bit scared with all the horror stories about the login-difficulties.... But I had no problems.

    I thought there was a hour and a half maintenance tonight so we all to do fresh logins once the servers come back up. I thought I read it was going to be from 6PM CST to 7:30PM CST. Did that change?

    Can understand the time-difference could be a factor, see how it goes this week and will still be trying to make a char on a European server. Though it doesn't change the fact I had fun playing. And waiting a bit longer to get on a European server? I don't mind, there are worse things in the world to get aggrivated about then the startup problems of FFXIV.

    Any graphical, audio, or gameplay restrictions not seen in other mmos but found in FFXIV can be blamed on one thing.

    Its because the geniuses (and by that I mean retards) at SE decided to let noobs in on the legacy servers.

    Any graphical, audio, or gameplay restrictions not seen in other mmos but found in FFXIV can be blamed on one thing.

    If only that would work though.  People logged in this morning and went to work.  SE never built in an automatic AFK logout, so there are tons of players sitting in the game idle - keeping the servers full.

    Major fail honestly.  :(

    Sad because the game is fantastic.
