I really hope they don't do this: a single 290X is already pushing the power limit for a single PCI slot, and definitely with AMD's stock cooler pushing the limits of what they can keep cool. Two of them on the same PCB would be a worse mistake than the GTX590 was. I think with the improved CFX mechanism, making end-users go across multiple PCI slots is a much better idea than trying to shoehorn them on a single PCB just for the sake of doing so.
