How pathetic! What is the point of an MMO that dies something like this. Your character means nothing if max level is purchased. MMO players have lost their way!

There is no way I'd pay $60 to level a character to 90. But then maybe they don't really want that many people to be leveling their characters. Or maybe they know there are a bunch of people who are willing to pay that amount of money to do it. There are probably people paying more than that for services to level their characters to max level and then steal their credit cards, so I guess paying $60 to Blizzard isn't such a bad deal, relatively speaking.

I applaud you. More people need to voice their disgust with Blizzard's greed by cancelling their subscription.
When WoW set those prices they had no idea what they had on their hands. going from the 12.95 standard to 14.99 is more than reasonable considering the inflation and even greater rise in developer salaries. And making content for WoW simply costs more money than making content for EQ1.
You should think things through before you blindly bash. Not saying WoW isnt swimming in cash, but the price was set before anyone knew it would it would attract millions.

They needed to be going back to vanilla style wow not the quick cash shop easy mode they have made this game. I left lotro to play this as lotro stopped dungeon raids due to F2p. But what I found in wow was completely easy mode raiding dungeons.
The current end game panda land dungeons are a complete joke. Dps through them they are ridiculously easy.

Raiding in wow is easy. And I'm not talking LFR which is a tour of a raid.

I'm one who has np spending in cash shops for things I want but with all the alts I left after Cata it's way to pricey. I'd rather buy new games for that price.

Since forever. Ever since we were told of the upcoming exp pak they said we'd get a free lv 90 if we wanted it.
No why would pay to skip content sure it is pain to 1 to 90 new and in WoD to 100 but this new concept blizzard have to P2S content for lvl system is more or less broken why not fix instead of take easy way.
MMO(RPG) is not about skip content to get to the end game blizzard have to lost the whole concept on what a MMO(RPG) it is all about the whole journey from lvl 1 to end game but in blizzard world the basically have remove everything from class quest to go to your class trainer when lvl up to get new spells then have even made craft easy you can bing lvl 90 and basically farm in MoP all mats you need to lvl up blacksmith for example i think it is big epic fault on blizzard part.
$60 to get to lvl 90 no why would i even pay it for then total is agains all what MMO(RPG) in my book stand for.
The only good thing about this is that it clearly uses real world money to tell you how much it is, unlike a lot of other games that use their own currency. No Turbine points, Zen, Cartel coins or Greek donkey dollars to confuse the player into what they are actually paying.

While i think $60 is WAAYY too expensive, you're a little off in the rest of your post. I currently have 3 lvl 90s and I've leveled every class to at least 72. Believe me, I am missing out on nothing if I were to use this to boost one of my characters. Its not a good idea for new players but for people who have run through all the leveling content multiple times, I can see how this can be appealing.

Currently 1-90 leveling service are charging 175$ per character(not even a proper leveling site, just one person who is selling his service in ownedcore.com). if you are saying 60$ for a level 90 is steep then you have no idea what you are talking about. As for this service being stupid, it was just a matter of time. whether we like it or not thousands of players buy leveling service from illegal sites, just like thousands of players buy gold from gold farmers. if anyone should be making money off of WoW that should be blizzard and not chinese prisoners. i support this feature. now they should just add a RMAH where people can sell their extra gold.

Only explanation is somebody wrongly interpreted. Probably that is price of EXPANSION that INCLUDES free bost. But any1 have tendency to understand as suits to him.

Can't say the reaction surprises me, but as usual it never fails to entertain. This is what, the 15th time in several years people here have screamed about Blizzard finally killing WoW? While still funny, it's also getting progressively sadder each time.
Did it ever occur to some of you fine folks that maybe somebody who has several characters at max level might actually not want to go through the same content they've seen eighteen billion times before in order to see what a different class is like? To some people that very well may be worth $60.
Even if someone did just buy the game & purchase a max level character, why is that a bad thing? Hate to break it to you folks, but just because someone has leveled through the content doesn't mean they know squat about their class, and the amount of terrible players in the game pretty much attests to that.
In short, it's much ado about nothing at all. Good for a chuckle though.
A parting tip: Stop worrying about what other people do with their money, and worry instead about keeping track of your own. Trust me, your stress levels will decrease tremendously.

I will not buy the lvl 90, but I'll surely use the free one that comes with WoD since my monk is stuck at lvl61 and I hate Outland and Cata for levelling. I don't care what other people buy, neither in RL nor ingame. I'm having fun and mostly play with guildies and friends anyway.
Levelling up hardly teaches you how to play your character at max level dungeons and raids in MMO's in general anymore.
EQ2 has been selling max level characters for a while now but if WOW does it it is EVIL, EVIL I tell you!!!!!!

No one enables bad financial decisions from their players as effectively as WoW.

While i think $60 is WAAYY too expensive, you're a little off in the rest of your post. I currently have 3 lvl 90s and I've leveled every class to at least 72. Expansion goes from lvls 90-100. Paying $60 only gets you to 90. Your logic fails.
