I will support this 100% as long as they add the camp feature to it as well.  All I ever did was show up to town and skip 8 hours until it was daytime again and do my quest.  If they add this feature as well I am all about wandering NPCS that sleep.

In my opinion this would make it feel more alive and EXACTLY like  single player ES game.  It was a useless feature in ES games being you could just skip to day time and it would be useless and frustrating in ESO, unless I can skip forward 8 hours and BAM!!  npcs are alive and ready for me to turn in my quest.  After all, that is how it works in ES games, right?

Miss the point of this thread, you did. Nice contribution to a constructive discussion.

There is a point to this thread?

    Besides stating the obvious.

Nobody is stating that you have the capacity to understand it, but it wouldn't hurt to give it the old college try.

It wouldn't hurt to realize that a video game isn't supposed to feel alive. After all, it's a video game. Unless you happen to schizophrenic, then some games might feel real to you.

I'm not sure if you actually are that daft or if you are merely egging me on. The Elder Scrolls games have been adding more lifelike characters with every new addition to the series. They improve the textures to make them appear more real. They add voice acting to give the characters their own accents. Characters eat, sleep, and even sometimes bathe. You do understand the concept of artificial intelligence, right? The goal is to increase immersion and make the game feel more lifelike. If it wasn't a concern, we would all still be playing Moria RPG.
