How many of you are getting the Imperial Edition?

I'd just like to see what's going on with others. Maybe there's some boycott going around I don't know about, I am unsure if I should invest in the Imperial edition or if it isn't worth it.

Haven't heard of any boycott, and I'm getting it. It will be first "collector's edition" I have bought in 6 years.

    Currently Playing: ESO and FFXIV
    Have played: You name it

Lol.  Best Buy: Sold Out Online. Amazon: Sold Out.  Gamestop: Sold Out Online.

Pretty sure there isn't a boycott.

Darkheart..all you have to do is look up pre-sale numbers. ^^

And yes I bought (pre-ordered)my physical edition as soon as it came out.

  • CazNeergCazNeerg Member Posts: 2,198

It's not for the Imperial Edition specifically, but if you add together the numbers for all three platforms on vgchartz, ESO is the third most pre-ordered game (of any kind) in the U.S.

EDIT: And they only track *physical* sales.

I have preordered the digital imperial edition.

i do not care about the bonuses, nor about the controversy of the paygate.

i want to support a game and a company extra handsomely so that they give me a product i enjoy.

I pre-orderd the Imperial Edition digital on greenmanmag with a %20 off code and got it for $64 so why not pay $4 extra and get the mount and Imperial race (even though i won't use Imperial).

I think you should do whatever it is you want to do with your money.  You are the only one who can decide if the CE is worth it to you.

Well the physical Imperial Edition is sold out, so you can't even get it :) So prolly not a boycott.

I bought standard just because I want to play the game and that overruled my principles (the ones that I said wouldn't allow me to buy this game because they stuck a race behind a pay barrier). Meh, principles shrincibles. Also, they at least said that it would be available after purchase, through a cash shop I believe, so that made me feel a little better about it ....... Not really, but it allowed me to justify the purchase to my conscious mind for long enough to type in my credit card ....... oh god, I'm so weak!

My husband and I both preordered the Imperial CE edition.

I never play imperials and there is nothing in this edition that seems worth it to me. So "no" not buying it. Unless they add something I'm interested in.

I pre-ordered the Imperial digital edition.

I'm not interested in the physical swag, it's just more stuff I have to haul around with me.

I got the Imperial Edition. For the mount. Not the fact that its cheap, but its WHITE!  Not interested in playing an Imperial at all.

Bought digital standard because Imperial edition doesn't have anything for me other than horse but I can get that anyway.

Already purchased the Digital Imperial Edition. :) Once I decided to play ESO I knew I'd pre-order asap and the bonuses for this one were good - the horse, the extra race, etc.
  • ColdrenColdren Member UncommonPosts: 495

I also pre-ordered the Imperial Digital Edition.

Would have bought the full collectors edition if I had the money at the time.

I've have collectors editions for only one other game, and that's the Starcraft 2 series. This would have been my third. Alas, to late.

Classic boycott, buy up all the stock so people can't play!

I pre-ordered the standard digital edition but now i regret not getting the imperial digital edition. I hope there will be a way to upgrade from standard to imperial because at the moment there's not.

I bought the Imperial Edition for $60 with the 25% off voucher on the GMG website, so I'm fine with it.

Did you mean: "Buy up all the stock and resell it on Ebay" ?
