Shrug, it's a game, not worried about trolling and toxicity, people should be trash talking, and getting mad when their team members suck or don't contribute properly.
I know that's not a popular train of though, but I think it's selfish for one person who gets butthurt because of some words said in chat to have any say over anything really. Especially if they are holding their team back.
It's just a game, and should be treated as such. There is no need to turn it into a chore of trying to punish people you don't agree with rather than entertainment from just playing the game. So someone called you a noob? Best solution? Ignore them and keep trying to improve your skills rather than worrying about exacting some sort of misplaced revenge due to your skill level.
Besides, ignoring people who insult others through chat etiher A) Shuts them up because no one talks to them, or Makes them even more mad and it's fun to laugh at people who get mad over a video game.

I emptied no less than a dozen server maps on Evony myself, one of the first MOBA style browser games I tried personally.
The thing with Evony and the total domination of maps that I noticed? Working as intended. Zerg, farm and drive out everyone. It might seem counter productive but it seemed to be what they expected people to do.

Exactly. Bottom line is it really is only a problem for people who get their feelings hurt really easily and don't know how to use an ignore function.

1) Turn off chat completely and pretend it's a single player game with "enhanced" bots.
2) Play with friends communicating through Skype.
3) Don't take the game seriously.
I would bet that is how most players are having fun in LoL and other MOBAs. Few cares or whine about "toxicity" on forums.
