Seeing that the lvl 50+ content is just a repeat of the same maps just with more difficult mobs bothers me and it cries out for a burn out at the first look.

This reminds me on SWTOR doing the same planets again.....quiete boring.

Do you have to do this lvl 50+ content to advance with your character or can you just do pvp instead getting similar gear ?

Same maps for who?  You don't redo faction areas on the same toon, so when you go to another one, it's new to you.  To you they are completely new maps with appropriately leveled challenges, unless you made 3 different level 50 toons on different factions and then just stopped without proceeding on with the "non-endgame" but decided to make alts to play the same content but at Bunny Slope level.

You can randomly get some decent Veteran gear but crafting will provide a lot of the really sweet stuff and yes, there are higher level mats in PvP.

Saying otherwise basically means you are just trolling. Regardless, the dungeons at the Veteran Ranks expand and aren't just reiterations of what you did between level 1-50 so you are forgetting that point too. Adventure zones ARE NOT the ridiculous generalized way in which you framed them. I think the following article sums it up pretty well in my eyes. If you can't find enough things to do at level 50, then can't help you because it will be only you with this problem.

In many MMO games player has nothing to do after reaching maximum level. All quests are completed, all dungeons are visited, PvP and PvE is not attractive any more… But it is not about Elder Scrolls Online. When the general quest line is completed and the maximum level is reached the second part of the game starts. This part is even more interesting than the first one.

Real PvP starts after 50th level

To be honest, real PvP starts after your character reaches maximum level. That’s because you have a lot of strong abilities and spells that you can use in battle. Your abilities are morphed and your character has enough stamina, health and manna to perform well in Cyrodiil. Moreover your gear at the highest level is also good and thus you chances to win are high. Your character is ready to meet enemies. You can have a lot of fun fighting against other alliances in AvA war after reaching highest level.

    Top Level Items Crafting

Crafting is a very important part of Elder Scrolls Online. Your character can start mastering any crafting profession at low levels and all crafted items are useful at any level. But Top level items can be crafted after you become a real master in your profession. There are top level items that can be received through crafting only. You can create top level armor and weapons; you can enchant your gear making it even better. Crafting at high levels is very interesting and beneficial.

    Adventure Zones (Dungeons)

Adventure zones are very similar to traditional raids. You enter the zone and become a part of an interesting story. You can receive great rewards there and have a lot of fun. When you finish your faction’s zones you can go to other factions’ zones and do quests there. Each faction has about 150 hours of dungeon questing!

    Master Dungeons

Elder Scrolls Online has very interesting dungeon system. When you play the game at level 1 – 49 you visit different dungeons and complete different quests there. But as soon as you reach 50th level you can return to the dungeon that was already visited by you at a lower level. You will find new areas available for exploration there and new quests to take. You will see how your previous actions influenced the situation and you will be able to continue adventures there. It will be a new dungeon where you will have new gameplay experience!

As you can see Elder Scrolls Online has a lot of End Game Content. The game is divided into 2 main parts: below 50th level and after the 50th level is reached. Both parts are interesting and you will definitely have a lot to do after the maximum level is reached.

Blah blah blah. What else are they supposed to say? That is a straight up ZoS advertisement.

The stress testers have seen about 40% of the game as it will exist at release, maybe even more. I can tell you right now there werent  many people that had so much to do they didnt know where to start or what to do.

The last beta people saw 6 of the PvE maps (11 or 12 if you count starter areas.) There are a grand total of 21 maps including Cyrodiil.

Crafting isnt 'end game content' it can hep with it and it can accentuate it but in this game it wont be anything close to what it is in other games even with the timer walls it has.  Once you make every thing you need personally which will take a couple hours then what?

PvP starts at 50? Maybe, I know the BS they sell everyone that PvP is viable at level 10 is a lie, but I would expect PvP really gets going once you have all your skill ppints and have them put in place where you want them. But even then youre still a cog in the giant zerg so does it really matter all that much? Trust me PvP in this game is going to die a thousand deaths. it will get exposed, then it will get nerfed and all the while people will get more and more frustrated and the issues with it will become more and more apparent and it will be a joke. Just like PvP is in every other game. Then when the game goes free to play theyll sell some arenas and smaller battlefield maps and tha will end the 'open' map PvP there is now.

Adventure zones and 'dungeons' I love how they use xxx(in this case 150) hours like that means something to MMO players. 150 hours for some people is a couple weeks, for others it might be a couple months. Regardless it isnt a lot of time in the grand scheme. We also dont know if those number are accurate or how they were arrived at. if its 150 hours listening to all the voice over then its 75 if you skip the dialogue. Meaningless numbers, but once again theyre trying to sell the product. But lets see a single person who has played an adventure zone or a single video of what one can expect from them. I dont think they exist because I dont think adventure zones are in any sort of usable condition right now.

These master dungeons, yeah GW has them. Remember all the videos we saw of them and how they changed as you leveled up and opened up new things? Well ESO is the same thing apparently but they dont have any videos of them in different phases that  have seen. But they werent all that in GW2, and I am sure they wont be all that in ESO either.

They can spin a lot of stuff and make it sound like there is lot more than than there really is. Fact is there isnt a lot there.

PvP is the mainstay but it isnt enough especially in the system they have in this one where PvP might end up falling in on itself.

Basically all that green stuff is so much garbage it would be like Putin giving a synopsis of what is going on in Crimea and it would be just as legitimate as that nonsense is. They tell people what they think people want to hear or what makes them look the best. Some people eat it up, some people have common sense.

I am not saying the game will be devoid of content once people reach max level I am just saying what little bit there is will be chewed up and spit out by a lot of the people playing this game.

To your last sentence, you could say the same thing about content in general with every MMO out there. Anyway, looks like we just disagree and have a different view on what end game means and I don't think you give the game enough credit for what it is doing. Good luck in whatever you'll be playing.

    There Is Always Hope!
