In 23 hours my AD brothers and sisters....
They have taken up arms "in defence of the Freedom that is our Birthright and which we ever enjoyed until the late Violation of it", and will "lay them down when Hostilities shall cease on the part of the Aggressors".
I chose AD because Kate beckinsale is my queen...for the QUEEN!

Ebonheart - it aligns with my Scottish/Swedish ancestry and will make the game feel more immersive.

Wood Elves.....their lore is fantastic, and fighting for a Queen...that has been trough what she has been trough is the most powerfull motivation to go all in.

Tough i dont like some parts of the game and it almost turned me away from it our community got me hyped up to the point it was imposible to ignore this game :P
AD is where my guild and its alliance are going. I'm happy with that as I wanted to roll a Khajit, anyway.

I'm not rolling with any guild coming from another title. I did the same with GW2! The problem is unless your guild is huge ES fans I doubt most will stick with the game. I'm not saying ESO is a bad game, far from it. But, if the folks in your guild are used to games like WoW or Rift, they won't play long imho, it is to different and they are more than likely going to play as if it were the typical clone. They will wind up quitting and you will be doing the all familiar "my guild quit, so this game sucks", then you will come to the forums and report how bad EOS. I do hope it goes well for you guys though!

IMOHB guilds that have started before a game becomes live do not , for the most part, dictate what its members will want to do. Yes, sadly there are those who wil be swayed by one of its members to leave a game because "XXXXX". But there are some guilds that become stronger with a new MMO start up.
Guilds fold for various reasons. Some from within and some from outside forces wether good or evil, mostly because a group within want something the owners don't want. Or the ppl within the guild are either friendly, or "seen as" friendly, or they are high necked players without a care for newer ones (Noobs).
A friendly guild will have each other's cares and/or concerns at the front. Clan: Angels Of Death
Why I "think" i want to play as a Dominion... Let's see... it's because I have seen most Beta's showing them as the "Heavies" in the PVP. Larger group and it also seems that the area is smaller and allows for a more concentrated treasures to be found than the larger less dense northern ones... And finally, I am from the south :P

I was thinking about this today. I had so many flashbacks from previous games. I stay away from multi-gaming communities because when I tried them, there was no one available to group up, everyone was soloing. And when GW2 was out, joining multiple games was cool, but they were a ghost town in a matter of weeks. There is a huge guild from WoW that is coming to play in Daggerfall Covenant which I am pretty sure that will be playing for a month then go back to WoW. So looking for a dedicated eso fan guild is a must. As far as factions, I liked all of them, but I think I will choose AD and play my imperial there.
Daggerfall for a few reasons.
1. Screw High Elves
2. Nords are a bunch of punks
3. The politics around Daggerfall's ambition to capture the throne is the only legitimate and reasonable one. For those who don't know, King Emeric wants to create peace in Tamriel to create a strong and prosperous economy with trade routes everywheres.
4. I enjoy the celtic Breton culture.
