I agree for the most part but I find the most vocal of the f2p fans are the ones who simply want to play for free because, let's be honest, they are cheap asses. F2p is a myth, proven over and over again, someone HAS to pay and every single f2p model depends of the minority paying the vast majority of the money. F2p players who do not pay anything or less than what a sub is are nothing more than free loaders. Development will focus around those who pay (which is reflected in the cash shop and gating of content).
Basically all these troll posts about players complaining about a sub are a bunch of self entitled people demanding something for nothing. Those who actually pay in a f2p game often pay far more a month than a sub and even though they should be more vocal they usually are not because of threat of flack from posters insulting them for spending so much money on a game (how someone else spends their money bothers then I have no clue ... they obviously think $15 a month is too expensive so spending $25+ a month on a game must blow their minds). F2p free-loaders will continue to go out and spend $20+ on fast food and junk food for an evening or weekend while they play and continue to whine about having to actually pay for game services.
I have no idea if the sub model will be successful for ESO as it is a big budget game expected to host tons of players to be deemed successful. I still believe a sub only game is the ONLY payment model to support a smaller, very strong community mmorpg. Smaller budget games which stick around due to it's game community may be the best application for the a sub in the long run. It isn't the mmo model that often leads to failure, it is the developers expectations that their niche game can attract a larger audience than it should. A smaller, stronger community is better for success and big companies fail to see this each and every time.

Hmm that would imply it plays like GW2, has no persistent PVP enemy, would have a world based around dynamic events, as well as story content completely removed from the main experience. None of these would be true statements.

I don't know about you...It's generally considered bad form where I come from to consider something crap because it's not to your tastes. WOW is a game I dislike, that doesn't make it a bad game, to think so would make me a rather self centered person IMO. It's just not my style. Another example being, I don't like country music, nor gansta rap, yet there are many acts who perform such music who have great talent. It's not hard to look past preference and see quality. It's really not about liking different things, it's about seeing past your own personal beliefs when judging things. Regardless of the styles you prefer. Anything else is putting far too much weight behind your own opinion.

+1 WoW does suck ....just for most of us it hasn't been an issue for the last 7 years or so
if the goal is a quick rush kill play BF3 bro...fun equates differently to different ppl, if ur cool with a pat on the back and a badge ESO is up your alley...i wish the game well, it just doesn't provide anything dynamic
Tons of things that happen within Cyrodiil matters. It is a self-contained system within the game of ESO. It isn't meant to affect the pve world that much. You are making a complaint based upon what YOU want out of the game instead on what the game actually is. Think of the futility of your argument for a moment.

Hmm what do you mean by "matters"? IN SWG nothing "mattered" from a design stand point, that didn't make it meaningless to those participating, on a guild level everything mattered that was going on. Great fun came of that.

PVP game-play is always "dynamic" especially in the typical gaming design usage of that word...it's certainly not the opposite in gaming lingo...Static..

i think there are design choices and elements of ESO that are bad, i also think that some things are kind of fun. i'm going to be playing the game anyway in like 9.5 hours or whatever it is now... i am not lying some of the game is bad some of it is ok, it's my opinion, it doesnt make me a liar.

I do not think you are a liar ... just a person who chooses their words and methods of expression poorly. That is far worse and you fail to see it. To be a liar you must first know the truth. They at least have that going for them.
