    If he ever sent an Email demanding a refund, I don't think he did, I just think he's a troll to be honest, but let's pretend he actually sent it, it would be emailed around customer support and mentioned in the company Christmas cabaret. This has got to be the best contender for this year's "Tinfoil Hat" award so far.

    Can you really get a refund for these reasons? Seems very thin . Also I do not think it is a valid one since I have lived in Brazil,Singapore,Spain and other countries and always played on US servers and my ping has never been constantly bad or good.


    I do not think what you are saying has any impact in fact the one time I was having really bad problems was when I was playing WoW from Spain on the European servers and I was getting better latency on the US account I had about 3 accounts then ,2 in Europe and 1 in US. The reason was later traced to a router in France which was very poor and when I switched servers to one that was not being routed by that particular router the latency dropped like a stone. It was so bad in red and 6000 and over before that. So what you're saying I think from my own experience has little bearing.

    I am seriously hoping that this is a troll post and not intended to be serious but still you never know so I will give feedback.

    First and third point, Other countries playing on the American servers will have no affect on your own ping at all. This is not a small scale server with a dozen or less players. If you have a poor ping look to your own equipment. First try power cycling your router/modem and PC (ie shut them down wait about 5 minutes then boot them up again) this will refresh your routing tables and may help your ping. Secondly make sure your system resources are adequate for the task perhaps try scaling down the graphics see if that makes a difference if it does play with the lower settings or buy upgrades.

    Second Point, due to the mmorpg community the old school mmo community is out numbered by the WOW crowd by a factor of at least 10 to 1 so sorry to say this ratio will ALWAYS be true, Live with it.

    On your last point I for one hope you DO NOT get a refund sorry but your reasons are to be honest silly and should not be encouraged.

    With those complaints+trolls I would strongly advise you to stop with preordering and wait 8-12 months after release to play any new MMO or online game till the FOTM communtiy has left and some patches have settled in.

    Normally I don't answer to someone using red to write but I guess Australians are everywhere these days so you are right - there is no EU anymore. All the pings are stolen.
