Looking forward (cautiously) to: Age of Conan, Dark Solstice, Armada Online.

    Will soon try: Guild Wars

Overall: Amazed and bewhildered at the current sad state of the artform of gaming.

What this means is that lots of people who haven’t played these games before are flocking to the genre, albeit in a slightly different form. This is the kind of new data that these ‘analysis’ guys EAT up with a spoon. My guess is that Arenanet will probably provide data on the number of active accounts, like the ones that have been logged into at least once in the last week or something.

GW will never be included because it isn't an MMO and it doesn't have any subscribers. If they included it, it would be a flat line at zero.

As for people talking about how many people are playing this game or that at prime time, that chart doesn't have anything to do with active players, it has to do with subscribers.

if you take the number of primetime players and multiply it by 10, it gives you a pretty good idea of how many people are playing it. So you could put Guild wars on there.
