So you understand? Then there is no question why they want to get their money back right?
Refunds are for faulty defected products or gifted clothes that don't fit, consumer responsibility is lost in today's gaming society it would seem. Getting caught up in a hype train for a game that is pretty much as advertised, is not a legitimate reason to get your money back. Game doesn't run on what is said to be supported hardware that is working properly? Legitimate reason Game is broken at it's core? Again a legitimate reason. How could this game possibly not be what a person thought it was? They were perfectly honest about what type of game they were making, how it worked, as well as what they intended to focus on.
except that the game can't run on recommended systems or even higher with playable fps...
Exaggeration makes your valid point dead wrong. It can run on most systems but is having issues with certain ones. This is a known fact. I run with 60+ frames consistently even while recording/streaming. A friend that has a similar system can't seem to get more than 20 frames (still playable, but annoying). If someone doesn't feel like this is something that Carbine will ever fix, then I recommend getting a refund - end of story.

Of course, the OP of this thread was more than capable of going to the original site and get the refund info but created the thread here as a rally cry for those looking for more people to say false statements (or at least exaggerated ones) against the game.

I like the cut of your jib.

the marked part is what makes my point exactly valid... also, anything below 30 FPS is unplayable because it causes headaches and/or nausea, atleast it does to me.

Also if it was a problem with "some" systems then it wouldn't have such a huge post on official forums. I've played a lot of mmorpgs at launch and never have I seen such a huge FPS problem like I saw with wildstar.

You stopped highlighting too early - I agree with you. Your post implied that this was a universal experience, which it is not.

true, should've added "some" or "a lot" in there :D

The marked part is what makes HIS point valid.

Also, Anecdotal evidence does not make fact, on either side.

However, if you go to their forums and actually read their updates you'll find that the game runs fine on most settings, it does not run fine on ATI / AMD because they have not optimized for those yet, but are in the process of doing so, just had a patch a few days ago that addressed optimization.

See, facts are based off of quantifiable sources.  Like reddit or their forums.  Not conjecture and anecdotes.

Scroll down to 2:06 PM yesterday.

"Carbine Studios Staff Posted Today, 02:06 PM

The expectation certainly isn't for people to actually do this for anything other than gathering another data point that helps us deliver the best and most appropriate fixes we can. If for example players disabled HT and saw a major boost that is another piece of the puzzle.

On the AMD and ATI front, we should see some official driver support soon.**"

There's some source facts here. Yay :-D

Here is a Reddit thread on this exact topic, and some people discussing how to get better performance out of their machines.

wildstar is a cheap knock off version of wow, even blizzard invest money into quality animators for wow. And thats what open beta is for, test the game yourself.

    Not even close.

    Also, reported.

Honestly one of the dumbest things ive read today. Carbine is made up of many members who didnt go to arena net after the dissolvement of blizzard north which BTW are the guys behind World of Warcraft. A cheap knockoff the only simularities in the games are the art design they went with and thats were it ends.
