    I've been wanting to try the game for a while now. I logged into home to start the download through Steam. Any suggestions on heroes or is it play what you like? I usually enjoy aoe nukers/mages, healers, crowd control, and hybrids. I don't mind tanks.

    Each hero has multiple builds. Just snag one and have fun. You start to accumulate heros rather quickly, as shards drop frequently that you can by new ones with.

    If you're looking for a good AoE/mage, out of the free starters, you can't go wrong with Punisher. Truly excellent ranged and AoE damage, and one of the toughest caster-types in the game.

    Torvaldr,

     

    If you're into nukes/AoE, consider using Storm as your starter.  Not sure who they have available for starters right now (the selection changes periodically), but she, Human Torch, and Scarlet Witch sound as if they may fit your playstyle fairly well.

    Yeah, I'm in the same boat. It said "4 codes left" as I clicked the thing to get the code and it was out in the time it took me to click. So close!

     

    If people actually give me send me their unused codes and I get more than one I'll send you the extra, but as of now no one has sent me any codes. :(

    Add me to the list... it was at 652 when I started but by the time I filled out all the info and waited for the activation email I was too late :(

    Ok, no one has been kind enough to give me their unused codes so I can't pass it on, but if such a thing happens not once not twice but 3 times, I will send you the third code.

     

    People gotta share the love first though!

    What a scam to get us to register.  It stated that over 600 free hero box keys were still available.  I find it unlikely that they all went poof in the minute or two it took me to register.  I call shenanigans!

    it was near 5k about an hour ago so i guess it was quite popular.. i got my key so i would'nt call it a scam.

    I had fun once, it was terrible.

    I wouldn't call it a scam either, just unfortunate for those of us who heard about it too late.

    i just kind of stumbled upon it i had no clue they was doing this.. it's pretty much the same way i've gotten keys for alot of games just casually browsing and "poof" there it is

    pays off to allways have this site in the background xD

    So far I got The Human Torch and Wolverine on splinters randomly.

    SO you didn't limit how many keys could go to an IP or account? All over the MH forums are people who collected 10+ free hero boxes while you have so many saying they had no chance at any. I guess once the sploit was in to grab as many as you could, nothing was going to stop 1k+ keys disappearing in less time than it took a person to register. This was a fail on both MMORPG's and Gaz's fault. MMORPG for allowing it to be so easy to grab multiple keys, and Gaz for allowing an account to register more than 1.
