Sadly I have yet to play a 40k tabletop game as I have not finished painting my minis yet. So I guess my best moment shall refer to said painting of minis. I always paint together with a friend, and I suppose my best moment was when I finished my first Necron Wraith and got praised by my friend for my work on it. It took me ages to do as I am not really that skilled at painting minis and I'd never gotten a compliment on one before.

Warhammer 40K is just a great IP.  I still enjoy collecting and painting the Miniatures.  I even still break out Dawn of War 1 and 2 for almost daily play.  Can't Wait to play Eternal Crusade.

My favorite moment from tabletop was when my ork Trukk packed with Boyz and Warboss was storming fortified Marines with two Dreads. Of course, my Trukk was destroyed, BUT thanks to Ramshackle rule it turned 90* left, rolled for few inches, blew up, wounded allied Necron Lord, killed most of my Boys and wounded Warboss. Through flying debris and swriling smoke, battered, wounded Orks pressed on! Aaaand they got cut down next turn :D Warboss however took some punishment from Dreads before going down ;]

Started playing the table top but my favorite experience has been playing the Dawn of War RTS with my brother, combing an excellent RTS with the world of Warhammer 40k could ask for no better.

The first time I opened the WH40K box set and started reading through the rulebook. I was drawn in to a marvelous universe that has captured my imagination for the past two and a half decades. GW and their great team of writers have done for sci-fi/tech what Tolkien did for fantasy.

Some of my fondest 40k memories and experiences have been playing the Dawn of War games with my brothers over the years, starting at the local LAN center due to or poor computer options and continuing even today over the internet now that we live hundreds of miles away from one another.  The massive, chaotic battles that we would wage against each other as well as the bots will always be a fond memory of mine.  I'm excited to relive those battles in a different capacity with the coming release of Eternal Crusade, keep up the good work!
