Trust me that they dont give u a refund on the "I can not make a house" base.
I am still amazed that u told us u have 5000 lp left.
I cant place my farmouse anywhere, but i dont have 5K LP left since i actualy Mined and lumbered the materials for it.
Why the hell did you even bought the game, if u wanna make houses go play Everquest Landmark.
Clearly I have offended you in some way, and for that I apologize. I hope that my response will not come off as brusque.
I had several problems with crashes and disconnects, which resulted in over 10 hours of queue time, add that into the 6 hours of downtime and then 3 more hours waiting for a customer support ticket.
And again, Im sorry if Ive upset you in some way that I was excited about the farming and crafting aspect of AA more than anything else the game had to offer.
They can probably see that I spent 20 hours worth of time not playing. As to whether or not they can see that I spent nearly all my play time trying to find a patch of land Im not sure.
All that aside, I hope you have a pleasant experience in AA.
In all honesty, land is one of the few things in the game that Trion might actually be able to monetize. If there's truly none left, they are in for a real rough ride.

Come to think of it you are correct, they could have made ridiculous amounts of money selling land for in game credits. I would not be suprised if it comes to just that.
I do not think theyre scamming people persay, I just think they handled it poorly. As to customer service, I was surprised when I called their number that I got a recording that they no longer had customer service via phone. More discouraging was their website was still not quite working sunday morning so I spent an hour or two trying to even get the live chat started. After 3 hours in the queue, I wasnt happy, but I kept it polite, and the live chat agent was polite as well. I have spent money on Rift as well, perhaps Ill get the same benefit.
Its not entirely hard to believe that as I mentioned above, they had a good track record as well as other factors that should in my opinion resulted in a better launch.
Now had my 2 facts above not been present, I wouldnt in a million years have bought a founders pack.
1. Rift was a good launch, for me, for others .. not so much. Rift launched great for you, thats good, so every other game since then has been fine?
Trion did not make AA and the length of time it was out doesn't mean it would be running fine.
If it ran great in Alpha/Beta and still there were issues then it still shouldn't be a surprise. Dissapointing yeah but given past games have performed better in beta than release, you still should expect errors.
Now if you didn't even think of any of the above or that it may have errors .. [mod edit]
Heres where you are misunderstanding me, the queue, the crashes, sure, that happens. However I cant recall an MMO launch where one of the biggest selling points of the game was completely closed off to a good portion of the players.
Would you kindly name one for me?
Biggest selling point being what?
The OW, PvP, Housing, Crafting .. Which, each one is 'biggest selling point' to to different people

thats what Private messages are for! Yes I did, my old guildmates from shadowbane all got back together, and so we were gonna relive old glories.
So if you got it prior to release it must have been before the open beta because if you brought it after open beta knowing that you didn't like it you would have to be a bit of an (insert whatever word you think describes such a person here ) lol
Knowing that you didn't like it you probably had several weeks or months to contact Trion and ask for your money back . Anytime in that period you could have start up this thread .
But no you wait for today when it goes live to the general public to start up this thread .
You only have to have a little common sense to see the flaws in what you are saying .
I bought it on Sept. 10th, lotta old friends of mine liked it, said it was good, but my experience at launch was a lot different than theirs. I didnt play the beta at all.
Well what part of what Im saying dont you understand? The reasons mods bust folks like you is that you stop talking about the topic and start making personal attacks, its easy to avoid, stop harassing people, simple as that.
As to what do you need me to further explain so my coherency isnt an issue?
So you spent money just to get a 4 day head start which package did you go for then ?
If you were not confident enough in the game why even buy the silver pack ?
You only had to wait 4 days .

You don't have to justify why you want a refund to anyone if others don't like it tough, I mean just look at the slogan for AA. Whats left to claim?????????????
They screwed the pooch and others can continue to bury there heads in the sand all they want but it's not gonna change a thing Trion messed up simple as that........

Actually he does have to justify it . He didn't choose to keep it to himself he chose to come on here and make a forum thread about it on the day the game is released .
If he didn't want to justify it he should have kept the matter between him an Trion .
well as you can see here, several people have gotten refunds, while I wait for mine, all I did was post a reddit link I found about it. I figure if someone is unhappy about the game like I and obviously several others were, theyd read my post and see theres a chance they could get their money back if they wanted. I had no intention of running the gauntlet of internet rage.
So if you wanted land you could've got a spot on one of the new servers.

Certainly, heres the crux though my friend. I got an email from an old guildie whom I played shadowbane with. I specifically went back to relive the glory days so to say. They were luckier than me in the land rush and leveld up really fast, trust me theyre not leaving and starting over so I can get land on a different server. So leaving my guild and friends behind to start solo in a team based game isnt what I had in mind.
Extra servers were great, dont get me wrong I hope people enjoy them, but in my situation it didnt help.

People say that they get refunds at the start of every game . Its a common practice on this website as I proved with that link earlier . Actually no rage was intended against you but you can see my point .
Why would you spend 45 dollars on a game you were unsure of just to play it 4 days earlier . I don't know many people who would do that with a single player game without researching it a bit at first and if they did they certainly wouldn't take it back to the shop or contact steam because they didn't like the game .
Why should it be any different for an mmo . You brought the game you took your chances and you only had to wait 4 days to play for free first before you spent any money .
I doubt you or any other people who have done that will get your money back from Trion I'm sure plenty will come on here and say they have though .
