i got it downloaded the first night. 8 hr wait before i got to 1000 in que.
the next night same thing. on the third night i made into the world. was only online for 5 min. before screen went blank.
the next 2 days the same problem with the ques.
folks do not put up with this and let you pocket book do the talking. stop you subscription and uninstall this game. if the publishers wants to treat the user as a heard of cows who do not know better, then stop giveing them money.
just stop you subscription and uninstall the game. i did and i will not look back.

Hell i uninstalled when i walked 10 feet forward and saw a Giant Yellow !
Thats my new rule for MMOs and it has saved me some money let me tell you. when i log on if i see ! uninstall, been there done that a million times.
Well if there was more than Eve, Darkfall and Archeage that offered any sandbox features then I would agree with OP. However, there aren't 10 years worth of games out there like this (as there are linear themeparks with no freedom). I actually understand that I likely won't get into the game in prime hours for a week or two. I will see you all in game in a week.
OP hate to tell you but the game is free to play. It probably won't keep me up tonight seeing as that I have lost nothing by only being lvl 15 since launch.
For me it is the horrendous support.
Sad when perfect world has better support than Trion does.
I still have not received my founders items,
after more than 5 tickets ( them closing them as resolved or ignoring them all together )
36 + hours waiting in live chat over 4 days.
I finally got a CS rep, he confirmed I had never received my items and said he would have them to me in 30 minutes.
15 hours later I get a box with the wrong items.
I finally broke down and filed a complaint with the CA BBB sadly I am not the only one that has.
Because it was a pre-order made and paid for back in April my CC will not let me dispute the purchase.
With the 10's of thousands of customers that still have not received what they paid for, Trion's attitude, the lack of CS staff, I really feel there could be grounds for a major class action lawsuit.
I looked into the CA AG's consumer fraud website and it looks like CA is pretty hard on these companies for pulling crap like this.

You think if the game sucked people would of waited each day in the que?... im only poting here because there is a server restart...
Basically clicking away text windows ruins every MMO, try to have fun instead of rushing things. Without story and lore all there is left is a bunch of mechanics.

I have been unable to play for 6 days now due to queues far beyond the amount of time I had to play.
I had to sit on the phone for 7 hours before I got to talk to customer support (thank god for hands free).

Go to the glyph client store > Go to archeage > find the package that says "Apply" (it should be the one you already bought) > Apply it to your character of choice > you now have your items.
This was added yesterday for those who still haven't got their items. Enjoy

WHich is usually done in defense of the many aspects both have to essentially pay more for..

That´s it really. To be able to actually play the game, you HAVE to have a Subscription (Patron) or you going to get stonewalled contineously by lack of LP or keep on opening up your wallet and buy LP pots.

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
It's an F2P. How many of those in the queue do you think are actual players and not the usual farmer/sellers and bots? Hell, a queue is perfect for botters. have a ton of accounts ready to go. One gets banned while another finally gets logged in. Numbers don't equal popularity, nor is it in any way informative as to the state of the game other than the company failed to take into account that there would be more than founders +5 people playing on release.
I guess when somethings worth posting about it, it must really be worth it. I remember reading this website for years before i finally made my first post as well didn't start posting until years later when I finally got around to making an account.
Meh the que's will die down eventually, AA is victim of its own succes and player who pay should get access first as in any game with a sub option. in a week or so maybe a bit more there be more servers and everyone incl F2P players will have easy access.
but eh.. kids and "grownups" need to complain about something right...
Those packs do not have the daru chest or the custom crest cloak and materials. A few other items missing as well.
It's a highly anticipated game with lot's of hype around it and it's f2p; what did you expect? Queues are part of any launch..well maybe not eso (lol); if you don't like them don't play at launch.
Also if your game does't work close it and get back without queues, there is a 10m grace period.
I'm sure somebody will be happy about taking your land spot.
