So what's the huge news, which were said to please subscribers, we were supposed to recieve at the start of this week?

Yea, I saw a post here where this week was supposedly going to have an announcement of some kind about ESO....
There was a huge discussion on this board last week in response for that post. I'm an ESO player myself and about to report any future F2P troll. That's why I'm waiting for this "news"
Trolling was kind of insane imo and hating on ESO was completely irrational.
Ah, well I'm the controlling share holder of Zenimax and all of it's subsidiary companies and am here to inform you that not only is ESO *NOT* going free to play, but we are doubling the monthly price and converting every race/class into Brony/Neck Beard and changing the entire games focus to My Little Pony.
That thread was made late friday night to play throughout the weekend with no moderation. It was locked monday morning for trolling.
Buy to play games (such as TSW and GW2) do seem to have much better monetization and atmosphere than free to play games (SWTOR, Archeage) so it wouldn't be a massive game changer for me and 'd quit f it was F2P.
There'd probably be a optional sub and just the box price and a few mounts or pets
Hope you're right. I tend to be skeptical about such things. However, you can count on me to be first in line to say "DMkano called it folks."
It is hard to do. The reason being is that trolls for years have been making rumors saying "I have a friend", or "someone told me". A lot of those trolls even make multiple accounts to stir the pot. You were caught making multiple accounts concerning Arche Age. So again yes, it is hard to do.
You know BC you have trolled the Wildstar forums quite strenuously as both ESO and Wildstar launched at about the same time it amuses me that you are calling DMKano on his trolling mentioning his thread being locked. I do recall one of yours being locked too for the same reason. People who live in glass houses should not throw stones they say.
I just bought ESO as it was ridiculously cheap it seemed quite a waste not to buy it. I hope they keep the subscription I do not like F2P games as a rule. I prefer a subscription.
So... what happened to "Tuesday?"
Just remember I was the one who said it made more sense for the announcement to happen at PAX South next week... you heard it here first!

I am in no way saying you might not be correct in saying that the game could be going B2P soon.
I am also not saying that Zeni might not be doing this (if they do) to bolster sales on the console release but you do realize that FFXIV has been going strong with a sub model on the PS3 and PS4 right?

Linking threads of what people are saying is not trolling. Even if you don't like it. Starting rumors based on nothing but "A friend told me" is. It's a classic, textbook example of trolling.
It is. It makes no difference whether the messenger is you or someone else, the message is what counts.
B2P conversion is expected, especially for consoles.
Any other news on business model? Cash shop or charging for DLC? I'm really hoping it's going to be DLC model like Destiny.
Was it not just yesterday they were still in the process of contacting all their outlets to remove copies?So it takes time and yes it will happen,i think at this point there is no doubt.IMO they are not only still finishing contacts maybe tomorrow this happens and they need to make sure their press speech sounds like the President ,all politically correct and such.I can't wait to here how they cover up their lies ,i am sure this will be a butter up to fans,like "we love you so much,that is why we offer this great product to you " "we wan to give more choice" "we want to open the game up to more people".

I am in no way siding with anyone as until any announcements these are all just rumors.
Regarding FFXIV being subscription based on console. Not every company likes getting the base minimum profit from their pay2play game. Some of them, want or better say expect the millions of world of warcraft.
FFXIV works, but don't expect it having millions of subs and SE are happy with that.
Zenimax has contacted no one.. and no one has said that ZOS has... Ah forget it. I keep biting. I hate in accurate claims... it's a character flaw... Have fun guys.
