Of course, there are these meeting stones, you say, but nobody uses them and they are quite frankly very bugged. Groups outside of a good guild are often based on luck, a lot of times there are people who take the very rare items you need and they only want to sell right in front of your nose when it was agreed that need comes first. Or there are the ones who play their class poorly(aka n00bs ) I'm playing a hunter and they are very unwanted because they are very skill dependant and a lot of very unskilled people play them which makes a lot of people have very bad experiences with them. b) What class will you chose as a main? This one has to be thought out, if you are competitive or have a lack of endurance, by any means, do not go for the hunter. It's an unfinished class, subpar compared to other classes. Although they've had some love, warlocks are very bugged aswell still. PvE wise, this game is pretty nice, high end instas and the collection of better equipment are pretty nice at high end and even better before. PvP wise, WoW is lacking, it's pretty unbalanced and the new Battlegrounds are even worse when you play capture the flag or something. Go play this if you're largely PvE, guild oriented. If not, you might and will have second thoughts and will get frustrated.
Umm yea...
a. Like PvE? You'll probably want to go and play EQ2 or a game based on PvE. Warcraft is largly geared towards PvP players.
b. "Hunter is a subpar class" Are you sure that you know what your doing with your hunter? Either your mainly trying to melee in PvP or you're blind, but hunters are probably the most dominate class for PvP groupwise at least. And although they are weak 1v1 against some classes, they can escape from virtually everyone.
c. Laggy areas? I've never seen lag outside of the Ironforge entrance. Even in mass pvp areas the games fine.
d. Ninjas are <1% of all players, and what instance besides the full raid ones arent easy enough to beat even with a few noobs? Also, you should have master loot on anyway so if someone ninjas from you then its your own fault, and if they are the group leader with master loot on and they ninja, then just petition a Gm and wait a few days until they get back your item.
e. Im sorry but I'm just going to have to laugh at your hunters are subpar thing agian. Since when does subpar = the highest ranged dmg and the ability to wear the 2nd highest armor in the game? Hunters can only be out damaged by a very good rogue or a mage using AoE spells.
I do hope that your whole post was meant to be a joke.

b) Not to mention Warlock is a great class if you how to play it. You can either really shine or you can really suck. Alot of the bad talk on warlocks comes from people not knowing how to play one to begin with. If speced right they get COA , Corruption, shadowburn and death coil all instant casts. Then throw in immolate which is a low cast time dot. So you can basically cast all that in less than 3 seconds and on top of it fear most classes successfully. Which gives you time to A) heal with bandage pop health stone C) pop potion D) throw down a high dmg cast to finish off your oponent. All the while your imp pounds your enemy with a fireball every second if you specced right .
SO like this guys said...I hope your post was a joke. If not you need to figure out some of the classes further.
I'm back on WoW at the moment. I have no bias or preference for any of the games. I wish the monthly fee were lower, that would certainly make it easier to stick with the game for longer periods of time, but I am having lots of fun regardless.
One thing I will say about WoW is that this game knows what it is. The world is very fleshed out, the zones have unique identities and specific fun goals to achieve. Soloing is very possible, as is group play. Leveling is very smooth, and that's the way I like it.
No expansions on the horizon, but lots of development being done on the existing game for additions and other things. It still hasn't changed too much overall for me, but that's great because it means the vision is consistent.
I think this is a very solid product and is worth the $15/mo. Definitely for the casual gamer.
