After watching the trailer, I got a question: the scenes of people flocking to Vault 111 at the time of the announcement of the nuclear attack, then at the end the Vault Dweller emerging wearing a Vault 111 suit. Could he be the baby depicted in the cot? If so, then the time passed between the start of the war and the emergence of the Vault Dweller couldn't be more than around 30 years. Could Fallout 4 be set around the same time as Fallout 1 and the events of Vault 13? WIth the flashback scenes in the trailer, is this a hint that the events in Fallout 4 are set in an earlier time than in FO2 and FO3?

The rumor is: You get cryogeniclly frozen. (possibly at M.I.T) - so it was like yesterday that the world was normal.
Also the events of fallout 4 take place 10 years after that of fallout 3, Apparently.

Unique sstuff, like....rad lvl never goes down and low chance to turn ghoul. Lose limbs find a mechanic to cyber up the bod. Get overdosed on drox low chance to mutate, etc.
The ability to rebuild a town and attract people to it to form a new world. Have to find other vaults and survivors to populate your town. have to gather resources to build up the town. and to survive the mutants and ravages of the wild to create a place where people will want to live.
Finally, I Fallout RPG based in my home city of Boston! Graphics I don't care much about if the game play and story are solid; it will be interesting to walk around areas I know. The Witcher 3 is a great game but if Bethesda makes the character controls smoother than TW3 then I will be happy. The poor movement system in TW3 is the biggest thing I did not like about it.
Will be interested in following this game since I have lost all interest and hope in any decent MMORPG showing up.
I know what we all want, for this damn game to come out already!!

Well said Sun. No game is perfect, but the last FO4 I played was New Vegas and it was a blast and lasted quite a while. If they can deliver that, I would be happy.
I don't know what it is about this one... but I was a blubbery, oozing mess over the game yesterday BEFORE I found out they're basing it in my home freaking city.
Now I can't even...

I'm from Boston too, should be cool. Graphics didn't look awe inspiring, but yeah that's fine with me. As long as I can tell they have been hard at work with the writing and RPG gameplay I'll deal. I want multiple viable character builds, I want to replay this game at least twice and have nearly two completely different experiences.
Gotta remember Bethesda takes their damn time when making games. They probably started this a whole hell of a long time ago.
Yeah, I'm also from Boston (actually close to Harvard Square so not Boston proper) and I might buy the game just to see what they did with various landmarks.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."
