It's got a lot of cool and fun mechanics from what I've played so far, but honestly I think it's the sci-fi focus of the setting that is my favorite thing so far. It's a really refreshing change of pace in a genre dominated by fantasy settings.
I played the beta, and I've enjoyed it so far. I really enjoy the combat mechanics, the fact that there's combos with certain skills and how well-paced the action is. I also like the way classes are implemented. It's like FFXIV:ARR, but you also have the Atlas system that's quite good (and it looks like later in the game, it branches). I also enjoy that it accommodates different play-styles, and that there's a weekly resource cap so that hardcore sick players don't burn the game in 3 sleepless days.

I love the combat, first time i have played MMO with action combat, real fun!
Also the idea of being able to change your class on the spot is awesome, I always wanted that in MMOs, it needs to be in all of them! or no class, just choose your skills/abilities.
For me it is the ability to switch what class I am on the fly just by being out of combat. I love to mix it up and play around during my play sessions.
I like how the game theme incorporates sci-fi and fantasy into one world. Also really digging how the battle system is a marriage between action rpg and classic mmorpg.
I am enjoying the way classes are handled in this game, not just the unique concepts behind them, but how no two classes handle or play alike. It also surprises me in how they play; I thought I would like the necromancer , but after testing them out, I found the necromancer to be nowhere near as fun to play as I thought, especially nowhere near as fun as the warlock, kinetic, or berserker.
I love the risks the dev team has taken ... not starting off with a character creator, but rather the tutorial; Not being relegated to one single class, but being able to change on the fly; Loot, but not in the traditional sense.
Very few other companies would be willing to take these kinds of risks. Mad respect to them for attempting these and more.

I really enjoy the combat, the detailed unlocking system used for many different things, and being able to change class and hope right back into it.
Also, the difficulty has spiked a considerable amount around 3500 prestige, making the game a lot better. Was starting to get a little dull.
so far it's the combat system, it's refreshing compare to the usual tab target systems.
the skilltree / ascension atlas is also really crazy... guess it will give me something to do for the next time
