* Huge selection of classes and it actually takes playing the game to unlock them
* Ability to have all calsses on one character
* Graphics are clean and well optimized
* Gives you a choice of group or solo play, and actually promotes group play
* Phantasy Star Online 2 feel and that game was amazing also
* Good free to play model, having an option "subscription"
* The style system is great and available from level 1 without having to unlock gear, it gives players a huge choice for customization from early on without having to sync hundreds of hours into the game which is great for being unique and diverse.
* Progression is rewarding, unlocking new classes for playing is a great idea
I'm sure i'm forgetting some things, but these are the main things i like about the game.
The fact that I can switch from a necromancer to a paladin on the fly makes it interesting when running content with a group that needs a curtain class.
I like how you can pop in and get a quick 20 min fix, I like that in the game I am a god amongst men, I think the way you unlock new abilities is interesting.
Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
I see that the creators try to combine several aspects of MMO, namely <span atn"="">sc-fi & medieval rpg. In my opinion it looks very nicely and I think that everyone should give this game a chance and play
I love the whole setting of the game, ur like gods but not rly, because becomming a god like ur end goal. also the atlass system is a very nice way of making progress in the game/unlocking classes.
I started out as a Paladin and swapped to a Lightbringer and am having a blast as mobile artillery. How many other MMOs have multiple classes on one character. No rolling a new character for every class here!
The Ascension ladder is a breath of fresh air as it gives you so many branches to explore and classes to unlock. I like how you can find the class you want to go to, right click and it will highlight the path you need to take to get there.
I like the open world system alot as well. You can help out other players and both will get credit for kills and objectives. No grouping required. So if your a lone wolf, you can go off and do your own thing. Sometimes it can be a bit challenging, but overall not being forced into a party is the way to go.
3rd day playing so far and looking forward to playing many, many more!
I'll dip my hat in the pool. Skyforge is a very unique game. I love how there is no limit to how far you can go in the game. The difficulties of the dungeons scales extremely high, through multiple difficulty types. Every time you do a dungeon, even if it's the same one you did 1000 Prestige before feels different because of the increased difficulty. That being said, you never have to worry about getting to content and breezing though it (unless you set it down yourself or to help a friend). The grind in this game is intense, but also very addicting. Even after you hit the Resource Limit, you can still grind out other materials, and that's what makes this game so great.
Top all of this off with the numerous other systems that make this game so great - the God Form system, the Order System, the Pantheon and Pantheon War system - and this game is pretty hard to beat for the niche of people looking for a new game to play, be it casually or hardcore.
For those brave enough to take on the toughest content in the game, the Raid system comes into play. Take an already difficult dungeon and make it even more difficult and more epic with another 5 players (total of 10) and you could likely spend hours doing 1 raid. Will you wipe? Likely. Will you have fun? Most definitely!
I love the fresh ideas that come with the game. Finally a valid reason why you can keep dying and still get up next morning for your wheaties. I love the cross genre feel of the fantasy story with sci-fi styling.
So far I love how the maps layout are and how crazy the graphics is. I play with friends and it makes a difference when playing with people you know, I was the paladin it was pretty wicked to control the power of lightning and dashing all over the place. It had a guild wars 2 feel to it on how quest works, but it's not overly crowded with random events, which is good. I like the no boundary traveling ( I can fall off a cliff ! ! ) where they do not restrict access in any of the terrain as long it's jumpable (not even a word -_-). I know alot of people are comparing alot of stuff about the game to other MMO, I hope they make this Open beta count and prove the nay sayers wrong.
What I really like about the game is the unique way you have to go about forging your character into what you vision them in the endgame. There are so many ways to go about it as well from getting better gear to improving the order of people who follow you. This leaves it so that no matter what you do in the game, one way or another, you're getting stronger and stronger so the progression is always there. Sure, the cap slows you down but you're still progressing and there is always better stuff being revealed within your class and the world to adventure through.
I am loving the game personally. I do wish that you could have equitable armor that scaled stat-wise and changed how it looked. As it is currently it seems like staff just got overwhelmed and didn't have time to put it into the game.

I enjoy the ability to change classes at will, and that you get to keep a cosmetic-friendly look at all times, instead of leveling up with armor that doesnt match colors and looks silly.

I like the class system in this game a lot, it's very unique and classes are mostly fun
The way to unlock them is very cool too, you actually need to work to unlock them so it doesn't feel easy and gives a nice longterm goal
