That post sounds like you're threatening to take your ball and go home !
Perhaps it would be better to simply limit it to "Best NEW games of 2015" or some such. That way you can avoid the older stalwarts dominating the outcomes without having to resort to verbal acrobatics.
If I didn't let you guys get me down, I'd not be doing my job. I'm constantly trying to please the community with our content. And I feel truly upset when something we put together displeases even a handful of the thousands who visit the site daily. I don't like letting anyone down, even if I don't agree with their reasons for being upset.
Here... you need this:

I voted ESO as best MMO, and I would have voted the same whether EVE was on the list or not.
I'm a bit surprised by Bill's unashamed bias against EVE though. Are we to believe that CCP only sends its "drone army" to vote at MMORPG.COM ?
If not, why isn't EVE winning every "best of" poll on the internet ?
Or is it perhaps just because MMORPG.COM has an unusually high percentage of EVE players amongst its membership ?
It's not just EVE, it's also W101's community, and Marvel Heroes. Both, arguably, won the polls in previous years because of calls to action. This year, though it's nice to get pageviews from those sorts of calls to action, I purposefully published these polls during holidays when most Community/PR teams are on break.

How is ESO winning this? They have such a horrible banning system that they ban people who plays this game legit and doesn't do a thing about bots. I was banned from the game for no reason atall. You guys just google "eso banned for no reason" " eso banned without warning" in google and you will see countless other people getting banned. I even raised an appeal to which they said its permanently banned.

This is a really pityful poll.
"The Best MMO of 2015" aka "how many established titles can we remove and list Trion games instead?". I am not surprised.
You left out EVE, but got in Trove and Devilian? Both games not even hitting the 2% mark doesn't look like that was a good selection on your part.
Next time drop WoW as well and list ArcheAge instead, to take out another heavyweight and throw in a 4th Trion title.
Archeage is a far better "mmo"rpg than WoW, so yeah they should have removed WoW and put Archeage there.

You shouldn't worry that much, you can't add every MMO on that list. How many do actually deserve to get Best MMO of 2015 lol? ESO, FFXIV, GW2 and SWTOR. They were miles ahead of any other MMOs in 2015, no matter what some would like to believe.
On another MMO site the results were pretty similar:
However next year don't include the option to just "see the results", force people to vote for something, rather than troll around here.
I'm fine forcing people to vote, as long as None of the Above is included. They won't do that anymore, as it likely would be the clear winner year after year in many categories. (It was the year they did include it.)
But show the results is fine, serves a similar purpose and do you really want to force people like me who has played none of those games to vote for them? What would be the purpose behind that?
I did just want to see the results, the option was perfectly fine.

I think you are just butt hurt because you bought the game really cheap from a third party and now you are paying the toll

"None of the Above" is basically the same as "Just Show Me the Results". And while it's doing pretty fine in all categories, it's winning only in the Moba section.
I don't know but in such a contest, this option is pretty stupid. At least add a button to show the results without affecting the polls in any way.
Sure EVE is losing subscribers, but good fragging grief, WoW has lost more subscribers this year than EVE ever had. If that's a metric for leaving a game off of a list, then WoW shouldn't be on the list for the next decade.
EVE is still, the best MMO in existence. The fact that there are hundreds of players who will band together to come vote for their game also means that the middle 'M' in MMOG is still strong in this title. What other MMOG has such a strong, passionate community that people will come vote for it in droves?
We can all agree that 2015 has ben a sad MMO year and the year before that- Lets all cross our fingers and hop 2016 will be better!
Problem is, if it were going to be, we'd probably already know about it. Other than a couple of promising KS indie projects that MIGHT be 2016 releases, there ain't much coming. As far as big ones go, Black Desert might be good but I have my doubts.

It is easy to see why some games were left off the list.. Imagine if LoTRO online were there. We would have people voting for it because the game was great when they played years ago and not based on how it is currently ( the game sucks now ). That was proven with the last Best MMORPG poll earlier this year.
Very strange to see KOTFE as best MMO expansion. With every update Bioware moves away from themepark MMO to single player KOTOR 3 which is what people actually wanted all along.
Nice Poll. Was able to honestly vote on all but the first category. I am sad I haven't tried any of the new RPG's this year other than Sword Coast Legends. It got my vote, but I hadn't played any of the others for a fair comparison.
HotS winning MOBA is a no brainer. That game is so awesome it has already soaked hundreds of my hard earned dollars. I think I have only spent more money on SWTOR (maybe WoW), and I have been playing that game for over 3 years now... Don't agree with the easy mode stuff, if you think that you haven't really played the game, talk to me when your climbing the current rendition of Hero/Team League.
SWTOR: KotFE was AWESOME. I still play through the story mode on my many, many alts, even though its not necessary. The stat reallocation brought in a bit more balance and flexibility than I had previously seen. The crafting rework really helps it be a bit more relevant and a little easier to level if you didn't start gathering at level 10. The companions changes are definitely better and make them more effective in lower levels. Though I think I have an easier time with my really high presence from my level 50 legacy. I also really like the idea of being able to use any companion in any role. I agree difficulty wasn't too present in the new content, but with that said, I am probably one of the highest skilled players on my server, so its not really fair when you know how to effectively gear your characters and know the rotations with your eyes closed. Gearing is much improved for leveling and even endgame. In the past I would spend a lot of time grinding out Basic comms to upgrade my adaptable gear every 10-20 levels for both my companion and my character. This would somewhat slow down the leveling experience significantly if you didn't have 20 characters all with tons of basic comms. I would sometimes have to spend time grinding basics on my higher levels just so I had enough to use for my leveling characters (this became even more of a thing in the 12X exp boost).
Now, with all the changes to companions and the way mastery gear works, it is so much easier to either just pick up the gear you get while leveling and use that (with the outfit designer you don't need to worry about looking crappy either). Or upgrade your adaptables (which there are now more of) and not have to worry about your companion.

KoTFE: While I disagree and disagree strongly with the act that Zakuul Empire(wtf Empire?) managed to destroy the Republic(a feat only accomplished by Sidious and only because he didn't destroy it, but rather defile it into his own Empire), the story is very good. And I am 110% with Bioware when they actually do story oriented stuff. Vote given.
I actually think it works perfectly fine in the lore. They never said they destroyed the Republic, only that they lost their fleet and surrendered to Zakuul. Arcann refused to destroy either the Republic or the Empire since he had no interest in governing their territories. Also the Old Republic had only stood for a thousand years. The Republic had been defeated during the rise of the Sith during the hundred years war, and went until the twilight of the Brotherhood Of Darkness and the Army of Light had their final battle. So it is untrue that the Republic had never been defeated or destroyed, just the Republic that Sidious destroyed had then stood for a thousand years.
Funny enough my choice for best MMORPG ended up being ESO. I criticized this game a lot during the BETA, and to be fair I was still SUPER into my SWTOR, so it probably wasn't very objective. Since it went B2P, I have had the best time, just exploring, the somewhat unique builds you can make, the personal adventure and story is great and organic, a nice reprieve from on the rails story like SWTOR. Not that I hate that type of RPG, I love it in fact, but as a break its nice. The combat is involving, the crafting is pretty cool and meaningful, and the grouping is much improved from its previous rendition.
All together not what I expected. So much hate on for SWTOR that even though its best expansion and one of the runners up for best MMO according to this opinion poll, I'm surprised. I guess a majority of the haters are still a minority, just vocal. Otherwise keep it up BIll, you know I'm still a fan!

When a single player update gets the most vote for best mmo expansion.... 2015 was either a huge let down or people did not experience enough of what was delivered by mmo developers.
I voted for KOTFE, not because of the story content they added, but because of how they redid endgame. It seems Bioware has found a solution to what every other themepark has been griping about: how to make all of the obsolete content relevant again.
At the moment, every single raid (Ops) and dungeon (flashpoint) has been re-tuned for max level.
I now have a huge (I want to largest?) selection of really awesome hardmode max level endgame instances to do when queuing, as opposed to a selection of 4 FPs and and a couple OPs at any given time, like it's been since 2013.
You should stop assuming KOTFE is a "single player update", and instead begin realizing that 4.0 is a pretty big "revolution" for themeparks, specifically when it comes to making obsolete content relevant again.

ESO? Is this real life? THe most bugged game i have ever played (and i've played dozzens of MMorgps)
EVen wildtsar is looking better than ESo currently
Imperial CIty and heart of THorns above heavnsward?? THis is beyonbd hilarious and extremely biased too many fanboys around

ESO is not bugged any more than other MMOs.
And yes this is real life, ESO isn't winning 2nd time in a row, just because it's such a "bad" game.

Its not just the bugs its the crappy multy guildsystem, the mediocre dungeons the countless bots.Beyond its great crafting system and some map ''events'' it was a generally bad game mediocre game at best.FF is way better and even SWToR is arguably better
I'm kinda puzzled how ESO keeps leading these polls (both here and other places). I tried the game just before it went F2P and found it to be incredibly bland - I'm not sure I even made it to level 20 before I uninstalled it. I may have to give it another shot just to see if I overlooked some hidden awesomeness.
