My predictions are far more pessimistic than Som's.
Everquest Next: I predict one round, possibly two of layoffs followed by the product become vaporware.
Black Desert Online: Prettiest MMORPG of 2016 hampered excessive grind in crucial game systems.
Pantheon and Shroud of the Avatar: Both release to initial praise and fanfare only to quickly fade into the background ala Archeage and Wildstar.
I also expect that CCP will have to shutter at least one of their current side projects - they're falling into the same trap they did before of trying to do much at once for the resources they have on hand.
My final prediction is for WoW: Legion. I fully expect Legion to boost their numbers massively for a short while just like WoD did, before having the same fate - after 3-4 months, a massive drop in subs. At that point I expect the devs to either EoL the game FFXI-style and/or announce a successor title.
Oh, and a last little tidbit, I expect a new FFXIV expansion to be announced sometime during the second half of this year.
My prediction is the only news, if any, we will be hearing about EQ Next this year is either cancellation or selling the assets to yet another company.

NCSoft shuts down WildStar before the year is up.
Turbine merges servers for DDO, if not shutting it down.
Many people purchase Legion and sub for 1-3 months, before leaving WoW and going back to the forums for forum PvP with the rest of us miserable SoBs.
I'll continue playing Trove because it's oddly addicting and fun. While still complaining in the forums.
Well i agree with you there except for Trove ..FUN umm no i was bored stiff looking at boring lego blocks all day.I am not sure if they can afford to just shut WS down but seeing how fast they shut down TR it would not surprise me.
"Living Story" somebody has not been paying much attention to Arena net and how they operate within the media. It is Living Story because they have no commitment to direction, they just wing everythigng as they go and why they cannot announce future content like Square Enix does.
Pantheon...I don;t want to play VG i already played that game,i don't want to play EQ either already spent ions of hours in those games,i want something unique/different new.
EQN:Darn skippy something is coming in 2016 but it is no Beta or if it is a Beta it will come attached with early access costs.Seeing how the H1Z1 model worked for them and still a year later after charging 25-30 bucks has not made an official release date,i expect them to follow this same model for Next, possibly never announcing a release date until all money/profits have been exhausted.
BDO no more surprises ,i don't think it has surprised anyone,it was a nice looking game before and is a nice looking game now,but nothing much more.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
