Start, finally getting our bearings officially and starting our own small clan on the Old Man Cho server. We’re sure many of you have played or dabbled in the closed beta events, but for those launching themselves finally into this Eastern Wuxia themed MMORPG, we’ve put together a list of things we wish we would have known going in.

Is this another Asian F2P? Or is there a decent hook? I'm wary of them anymore so I can't see just jumping unless there's a good reason.

Just cant get into this game. Feels more like Blade without Soul. Maybe because ive seen so much of it the past 6y. Maybe its to late for it now. Not gona play this one either.

This game actually suprised me. I wasn't expecting to be so engrossed and obsessed with the gameplay as I am. I personally just got into it because I wanted something to hold me over until BDO releases, but wow, I do see myself playing this game daily.

It really is an enjoyable game.

Hey Bill! I caught your and Gentleman Geek's streams over the weekend. I rolled on Old Man Cho and just finished the tutorial . How can I join the MMORPG clan?

just a little correction , F7 is server based , u pick your ppl in your party and is manual acceptance/invitation to it, F8 is cross-server

Daily Spin Screenshot is outdated... The new daily spin method is you'll get every item on the board as you pass over it. But a lot of the spaces on the board are blank.

But otherwise good tips! Didn't know about the dungeon portal thing and achievement stats XD

Nope. its mainly potions - Summoner does get some heals though, so if you're going to want to go support like, thats the class you want to go for sure.

This game was not on my radar at ALL but I felt like trying something new and I was really really amazed how much I like it. It's no deep world I want to "live" in, but it's a really fun action MMO.

Awesome tips! This is definitely a great way to get people to play that otherwise wouldn't by having such great advice. I mean after all it's about a balanced playing field....right...riiiiiiiight...heffalumps and woozles.

One thing i dont like in Blade&Soul is when you are in group to do a dungeon if somthings drop and y9ou wanted you have to pay to have it. Its not very cool because the money is hard to get.

I didn't know there was a lot of Asian f2p's out there.  Aside from archeage exactly what Asian f2p did you experience?

I actually like this.  It deters people from bidding on stuff they don't need.  Plus, that money gets divided up among the rest of the group, so even if you don't win the bid you still at least get money out of it.  It's win/win imo.

By far, not a complete list, but examples I've tried include.  Wakfu, Age of Wulin, Flyff, MapleStory, Vindictus, Dragon Nest, Tera, Aion.

If you want the item you have to bid for it. Whoever wins the bid gets the item, and then the amount they bidded gets divided amongst the other group members. I think it's a pretty clever system actually.

Just wanted to mention that if you wanted to repair without using your hammers you can do so for a fee at the weapon vender.

After playing this whole weekend, I don't have a lot of good things to say about bns except that the combat is fun. Crafting is a complete money sink and just a joke in general. You don't even go out and gather or even CRAFT! You just pay npcs to do those things for you. The marketplace is the worst interface that I've seen in many years. Seriously, you can't search for things without putting in a level range within 5 (i.e. it has to be 10-15 or 35-40). Questing is a complete snore and pretty much the main way to level up, get your pillow ready. Forced pvp if you want to level up your clan. This really is a game from years ago.

Yeah it's fine, it worried me at first but it's all good.
