The only fun i had so far with it is waiting 3 hours to finish downloading the installer. I have a great time with it, never had so much fun drinking coffee and looking at how much time i still need to wait. While i am rolling a smoke the download time goes from 2 to 6 hours and back to 4 hours. With a smile on my face i cant wait to install the installer and then do the same thing waiting to actual installing the game !
That is not what was said in the text. What was said is that it gives you very important items that will allow you to increase the effectiveness of your items.
I like the game overall, the biggest issue I have with it is grinding the first level 20 dungeon 30 times and not get the blight dagger I need to upgrade my weapon.
I need that same Dagger.
Man that really sounds painful. 20 or 30 times really?
1: When you pick your faction DO NOT put on your uniform right away. The opposing faction can and will kill you outright (unless you're pvp hungry then go for it)
2: The more you write in the survey sections the more rewards you get.
One thing i dont like in Blade&Soul is when you are in group to do a dungeon if somthings drop and y9ou wanted you have to pay to have it. Its not very cool because the money is hard to get.
what? u have to pay ingame money to roll on items ?
If you want the item you have to bid for it. Whoever wins the bid gets the item, and then the amount they bidded gets divided amongst the other group members. I think it's a pretty clever system actually.
SOunds like a gold farmers dream. Sounds like the game is setup for gold farmers to prosper. Now, I have no idea on what they do to curb gold farmers, but if it's like your run of the mill F2P, then probably not much. Sounds like money is not easily gained and everything has a cost.
I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.
This game just looks flat-out bad. A duel-centric lockdown fest with backwards, antiquated world PvP and virtually no endgame PvE. Once again, Korea: thanks, but no thanks.
Great article, terrible game. The graphics are old and the animations are just headshakingly bad and concentrated around melee. Its like... where is the adventure, where is the quality? It even makes Archeage look good and play good.
Trouble is... there really is very little alternative on the market right now.

Use a viridan key to open the class weapon chest and you're guaranteed a class specific drop.
Is there a healing class in this game? Just looked over most of them and didn't see any.
Not so far...which is GREAT afaic. No one's stuck (or can hide) behind everyone dishing out heals while everyone else has all the fun. One of my favorite things about the game so far!

I didn't know there was a lot of Asian f2p's out there. Aside from archeage exactly what Asian f2p did you experience?
By far, not a complete list, but examples I've tried include. Wakfu, Age of Wulin, Flyff, MapleStory, Vindictus, Dragon Nest, Tera, Aion.
