We always built The Division with the ambition to make it a universe that would expand beyond the game’s release. We are glad to give you today a sneak peek at the post-launch plans for the game and detail what you can expect in the Season Pass.
The development team is working on a complete post-launch plan to keep the experience fresh for the months to come, including several free updates, new features and functionality.
The free updates to be released for all players will add new game modes such as challenging group-oriented operations to test players’ abilities in co-op mode and win unique rewards.
We are also planning 3 paid expansions that will be released over the course of the year. Each expansion builds on The Division, continuing your agent’s journey and progress with new content, gear and gameplay as you fight to take back New York:
Expansion I: Underground
This first major expansion opens up a new area to players as they explore the uncharted underworld of New York City with up to 3 friends for intense co-op action.
Expansion II: Survival
In this expansion, players will have to survive as long as possible in a very hostile environment that will challenge even the most talented agents.
Expansion III: Last Stand
Stay tuned for more information.
These 3 paid expansions are included in the Season Pass, along with exclusive content.
Here is a full overview of the Season Pass content:
The Season Pass is included in the Gold Edition and Sleeper Agent Edition of the game, and will also be available for stand-alone purchase when the game releases, on March 8th, 2016.

I'd rather them focus exclusively on building the explorable world of NYC. Survival rounds? No thanks.
Don't be that dude.
On topic, what exactly do you not like? Are you not currently watching, oh I don't know, any streamer right now? A lot of my uneasy questions got answered real quick and it is impressive. This is just the XBox 1 beta. We have not even done PC yet.
But, I highly doubt you even pre ordered the game dude. Footage and information has been pumped out all December and January and you, now of all times, want a "refund"? Sigh, I don't want to call you dumb for you're choice to purchase of a not finished game and not being well informed. I'll call it, "Blind Purchasing". I pre ordered because I knew exactly what to expect. And from what I saw today on xbone alone, I'm sold.
But, to each their own.
Wanted to add this video too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDqqfnndVaU
How about the haters and the hypes both wait and maybe actually KNOW SOMETHING before they speak this time around. Maybe?
Or just flame this rational, logical post, I'm sure that's much more likely.
'Sandbox MMO' is a PTSD trigger word for anyone who has the experience to know that anonymous players invariably use a 'sandbox' in the same manner a housecat does.

No game is more fun than the one you can't play, and no game is more boring than one which you've become familiar.

Althought, you failed to notice one thing, Nowhere in my post am I "cheerleading" or "white knighting".
I was informing the masses and calling out "that guy". Mind you, I don't need to play as I have been watching the streams all day. My gaming community group TrapArmy is streaming too. I asked questions and wanted my concerns to be addressed. Well, that's what I did all day. Been following for over a year and have been responsiable enough to get the information before pre ordering. So, seems I know a lot. So my pre order the other day was justified by the video footage and all the information out there. So, yeah, theres that.
Mind you, nowhere in the history of me posting here, ever, have I just stated something so stupid as, "I'm smelling a bust , over hyped, oh man I want my money back", mind you, with literally ALL the info we had over the past 2 months as well. All I see is somebody who, either a) purchased the game blindly(more likely) or b) has not purchased the game and is trolling. Could go either way.
There is enough information out there for months now for people to make good purchasing decisions.
Here's Angry Joe for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpPLATt94n0

My point? Don't come here crying because you paid for a game you blindly bought.
I'm not a hater, just don't want to get overhyped and pay for something that sux like I did with Destiny. I'm sure people will like this game even if it sux too, just like some people like Destiny.
The other end of the equation is , whats with paying for DLC before the game comes out?
I did see gameplay too already - very disappointed
Credibility lost.

I'll wait and see how the early adopters get on with the game, if i like what i see, then i'll jump in too, chances are i'll avoid most of the bugs and other launch issues that dog most games these days.
There is really no good reason to pre-order this or any other game.
If you want a new idea, go read an old book.
In order to be insulted, I must first value your opinion.
Basically this business model says to me > $60 to buy then $15 to sub every 3 months, which isn't the worst deal ever, but it just feels sketchy (especially since I know this payment model from CoD). In the end I will buy it if friends decide to play (probably); I won't buy this and play solo.

The gamer in me says "You #@%!@#, another season pass, why can't I just buy a whole game for once"
Hard to use "famous youtubers" as reasoning when money is involved.
Played the beta. Wasn't for me. Game feels shallow, a fun shooter but ultimately with no depth.
Hopefully the DLC can fix it.
So I have confidence in the Division probably not disappointing me. Keep in mind I haven't pre-ordered it yet. However, like all game purchases, to still include Ubisoft games, I will research it then make my purchase accordingly. /shrug
