ESO support still bad as ever!

Can't believe how bad these guys are. Starting to believe the game is hurting big time with players if they had to fire all CS.

They ignore players issues, they ignore players on forums, then if you complain about how they ignore us you get banned from all outside of game areas.

This game could of been so great but the people inside Zos could careless about any of us. 
I'm not perfect but I'm always myself!

    Really? I got help like within 15 mins when I submitted a ticket and they helped me out more then I thought they could.

    Why single out Zenimax for bad customer support? All companies have offered crap support to some customers.

    I have used CS several times, with problems ranging from serious ( credit card issues ) to frivolous ( vanity items ) and I have always been contacted within 24h period and no ticket ever went unresolved for more than  ~4 days...

    I cannot think of any MMO that has not been accused of having "appalling" customer service by several people, lol

    I guess it's pretty inevitable when there's a few million players passing through each game over the years...

    i do not like ESO anymore myself but thats for the vet levels and game direction. But to single out customer service and point to a thread there is flamebait nothing more here and this thread should just be deleted. There is bad customer service in all parts of life and good ones also. Go call verizon wireless or 90% of the credit card companies and then come back here and speak about customer service in a video game being bad.

    Yep when I used CS it only took a day or two to get back to me. But after they laid off all those CS people it has become almost impossible to get a reasonable response from them. 
    I'm not perfect but I'm always myself!

    I think the biggest problem here is people want to go back to the days of having in game GM's to help them in a few hours to minutes.  You will never probably see that again, you now you basically play the texting game back and forth unless you get to the point of calling if they even have a number you can call.  This is why people are complaining most of the time, they want the instant fix, but don't realize that the other 2 or 3 thousand players all want that to at the same time. 

    As far as Zenimax's CS it was about the same as every other gaming company I have dealt with in the past 5 years or so of gaming.  Opened a ticket got a response in a day or to, even had to get sent up to a technical expert one time, but issue got fixed within a couple of days.

    LOL really guys I understand the game rocks, hell I still sub to it. But their service has always been bad right after they decided to go B2P and lied to us they were fixing bugs when in reality they were doing store and consoles. 

    Been around long time playing these games (UO beta) and have also seen bad CS, but Zos and these devs take the cake on taking the game down hill with service. 
    I'm not perfect but I'm always myself!

    The OP in your link where there is like 4 replies in 4 days should probably check his emails spam folder, because that is most likely where his CS response is sitting.

    It's troubling that they don't allow feedback like that on the forums. Assuming you mean feedback and not just flaming the CS because the individual is an adult baby. They could learn a lot if they paid attention to their customers.

    I really don't think i need to post links from reddit and other threads from official forums. You guys do know this is just the latest one, If you go look you will see a lot. I do mean a lot. Even on their FB twitter ect ect ect. I just wish they would be more open and understanding and also an over all better company.

    So which is it, "bad as ever" or "much worse since layoffs"? :)

    I haven't put in a ticket in more than a year... back when stuck quests were a thing, so I can't comment from personal experience.

    Any issues I've had, I just google and fix myself (deleting the usersettings.txt and letting the game re-generate it fresh fixes all kinds of weird problems lol)... but that's on PC, and one of the reasons I much prefer the PC version, I wouldn't know where to begin to tinker with console files.

    Doesn't surprise me that ESO has bad support. I left this game along time ago because its too boring.

    It really is sad because really believe if they get better management that really knows what the game needs and players need this could be as great as WoW was at one time. This game has so much potential.

    Yeah that ticket went right to mods on forums. They are quick to do renames. They done it for me in like 5 minutes when I asked on forums to do it.

    They help thousands of people.  If thousands of people started raising hell, then I'd be more inclined to think there is an issue.  No Help Desk is perfect.  Doesn't help those that do have issues, but a disaster it doesn't make.

    Never had much issue with CS in any of my games.  Maybe it's because i dont care enough to raise hell when shit happens,  maybe it's because if i need to make a ticket to CS i usually give all the relevant info i cant think of,  without any rants or asskissing or what have you,  just my problem,  when and where it happened,  who i was grouped with,  what i was dooing that made it happen, that sort of thing.

    Only game i can think of where CS is getting heavy flak is SWTOR.  But then it's just about the only mmo forum i visit fairly frequently, so truth is i have no idea about CS in most mmo's.

    I had a character login issue once that was fixed within the same day.

    Separately, ZOS gave me the benefit of the doubt over an expired upgrade code (that I had failed to use in time) and gave me credit without any issues. TBH I had extremely low expectations of a positive outcome. I had not realized until months later that I failed to enter the code correctly, and truthfully it was my own fault. But ZOS hooked me up right away and sent me a very nice understanding email, all within 24 hours.

    So take it or leave it I guess. Everyone's experience is different :)

    Idk I had 3 accounts sold each of them considering that lot of account changes only by support I had no issue with them . Of course they didn't know I sell them but they always where changing email pass secret questing on my request and pretty fast ...but idk how it's now .....response became slower after they when B2P
