Isn't levelling quite easy in this game? What would be the use of the combat exp gain stat if the game allows you to level quite fast. Does not seem to P2W  if it is just exp gain.
Leveling post 50 is very slow and reaching the softcap is very difficult and time consuming. Few will reach it.

The stats on those costums is just DAUM applying the vaseline.
It's still not too late for many to make a choise though:

I heard the most you can have is +5 crafting, so a free +1 is a 20% advantage purely due to credit card meta.

Saying this won't affect PvP shows a clear lack of understanding about how this game works. RNG casino crafting is based on gaining incremental power gains over a long period of time (unless you pay like in Korea/Russia/Japan). Having a small advantage will add up after a while.

Its the same with a permanent 10% exp increase. On a long enough timeline that adds up and unlocking your awakening that much faster will be an advantage in sieges and other PvP early on. All for just $30 bucks.

Between inventory space, weight, bonus stats, pets, mounts and furniture you are having to pay triple or more the box price just to get the full experience.

Fun fact : some group in new york demanded that since tolkein's book use the words "gay" and "faggot", they have to be censored and republished with "appropriate" words. I bet they completely understood what tolkein wanted to express in his books by words./sarcasm off

I just feel like people who are against companies making money are the same ones voting for Bernie Sanders, yes the game is made, who cares?  The company still needs an income, it still needs to pay employees, and B2P isn't going to cover that forever.
    Ultimate apologist detected.

Plenty of games do just fine without ruining the integrity of the game by selling stats for cash.

I am a consumer, not a charity. I only care if the product is good - how they pay the bills is not my problem.

What you seem to be missing is that using shady / cash grab tactics to 'pay the bills' just drives customers away.
Yes that is the signature of a cash grab game.

Rather than pricing it reasonably, they overprice everything at launch to get as much as they can before the word gets out how bad it is.

Always with the overpriced packages on pre-order. whatever pre order means

If the game was good they wouldnt use these horribly overplayed demeaning and insulting tactics.

If the game was good it would easily sell itself in this genre since everyone is starved for something playable and it doesnt ever arrive.

These are corporations making games, not people who actually care about making people happy, quite the contrary.  The more miserable you are the more likely you are going to try to "improve" your life with parasitic products.

Everyone is just chasing that high we got as kids, playing fun games that blew your mind.  Problem is we arent kids anymore and the games are just manipulative scams built for one purpose to make easy money.

There is nothing in the CS that you absolutely must to have.  If you don't like the CS, don't use it.

It's literally really just that simple.

    Bottom Line
If the cash shop in BDO is really what is keeping you from wanting to play, then really this isn't a game that you were going to play for more than a month anyways

    Quoted for truth.  Seriously.

If people were truly honest with themselves, I mean truly honest, then they would admit this.

I'm sure it would make more sense read aloud. :p

I don't disagree with you that sometimes spoken word communicates differently and more effectively than written word. I don't think that's true for most all YouTube videos that intend to be informative. Hiveleader is an exception. Comedy can be an exception, but nothing in the topic needed 11 minutes of talking.
That means you don't agree with the way content was presented in the video, i wholeheartedly agree thus i did not bother watching beyond 5 minute.

I am shocked, SHOCKED, I tell you, to find a P2W (or pay for power if you prefer) cash shop in a Korean grinder.

Such a thing has NEVER happened before....

    (Not)

Btw Pear Abyss the devs of this game are pretty honest about all of this:

The problem is they didn't make any effort to acknowledge that the western market is very different from their home market.

Did you even read the link?

"For example, a sale of cash items, such as accessories and underwear, were not so great when they were sold without any bonus stats. But the sales started to rise after we added stats such as luck +1 or knowledge gain probability. Most of these cash items are designed to give more comfortable game experiences. "

Same goes for west, people do buy more items if they are more than just cosmetics, that is a reason why they are in western cash shops in the first place and it is all absolutely fine.

What's wrong with people on these boards...?

Oh they did all the research needed for their game, and that's why it's B2P. They clearly understood the fact that western people are more willing to pay money in a hopes of quality. I really hope lots of people support this activity, so those poor korean devs get some moneeh.
