I won't play and not because I think the game is bad but twitch and PvP equals dead me a lot. So no I will avoid it although the other systems like crafting, taming and stuff looks good.

Don't worry you don't need to pvp at all if you don't want to as it is open world pvp is totally pointless there are no rewards and harsh punishment if you even try so no one will bother for long with it,
i hear a lot that people would fight over grind spots or something like
that but don't really get the point of that if someone can just switch
the channel or go elsewhere...
Pretty thorough. I pretty much agree with you. Though, all the managing trade stuff will be very new to me.
I tried the CBT2 and my view on the combat is generally like everyone's opinion it seems. It's fun! It's complex too. I'm very use to using hot buttons and I can continue to use them. The controls for using powers is different from the way I'm used to operating. However, because the combat is so satisfying, I'm working to master the system of keys and combos in BDO. That says something positive, I think.
Of course, it always makes a game more appealing to play if you can tailor the look of your character to your liking. Well, BDO provides that as well. Granted your initial clothing appears to be something fixed. I never got around to trying to alter my clothing as I was too involved in mastering the mechanics of combat and navigation.
My big concern? I like the fact that you can manage so many aspects of your character's world directly like horse taming, and building your financial resources. Then again, RL throws more than enough things my way to manage. Perhaps, it is an age thing as I am well into my 40's. So, I am not truly sure how much energy I will be willing to put into micromanaging my income. As it is, I only got so far lvl wise and though I could go out and tame a horse I did not. I like the idea of that, but I just never got around to it. I killed my donkey by "parking" it in an unsafe area. Poor Bucket. Then I was like "Ugh, I don't have the time nor patience to watch my donkey like I should." CoH travel powers. Still miss them DEARLY. Since I was running along with folks on mounts I figured I'd let Bucket rest...after I rezzed him that is. I'll invest more time during launch. I work long odd hours and it amazes me how 100% of the games I've managed to get into a CBT it always seems to land on days I have to work (12 hr shifts)...but I digress.
Also, I have been pretty much been a PvE player grinding quests/missions and doing dungeons. I love dungeons typically. However, I did do a little bit of arena PvP and I will admit I found it surprisingly fun. I only did it for a bit as I was grinding for skill points.
I guess the jury is still out here. If I can really get into the economy aspect of it and being required to be part of a guild (I could be wrong, but it almost feels like you'll HAVE TO join one). Then I'll enjoy it...for the moment I will admit. I have my eye on another upcoming game.
I'm taking a chance on this one simply because nothing else even seems remotely interesting any time soon. I have some real reservations about the cut and paste "localization" that they are doing with this game though. I think they made some good choices as far as the business model and server structure so I'm going to hope that trend continues. The game has a lot to offer if you really like sandbox MMO's. I think the biggest hurdle this game has to overcome is that a lot of people will give up before they even figure out how the game works or think the game will require so much time that they can't do much without playing 10 hours a day.
The game can be a bit overwhelming at first until you learn the mechanics. Once you do though, you learn that some parts of the game can be managed without playing 24/7. You can hire workers to help with crafting and harvesting and even transportation of goods. I think it will take a lot of effort to get established, but once you get going then it won't take as much time to maintain. That's what I hope for anyway.
As I have learned to do with these kinds of things, I will wait for a minimum of 30 days and see what the general consensus is and if it's still worth a boxed fee at that point.
EDIT: I picked the wrong choice for the poll, It's Probably won't.
Put about 12 hours into cb2 and went in cold. It's a nice looking world and character creation is pretty awesome but what I saw of early leveling gameplay and story was a mixed bag of decent + /facepalm. Not enough to get my interest or money, but if my friends go in I may take another look.
I enjoyed the gameplay itself. I really couldn't stand the UI, it really turned me off. I also HATE piles of mobs standing around that don't react to you until you start to attack them. Yes, it was part of the tutorial area, and I am sure it changes later on, but you need to really grab people immediately. That was also a huge turn off for me.
I probably won't play, but you never know, I might give it another look a year or so after release.
Do you know MMORPGs cost money to make and maintain, and developers also have families to feed, right ?
Battered wife syndrom right there. It's hard to believe that in 2016, out of a sample size of ~20 years and hundreds of MMOs we still see these idiotic comments
I care about your gaming 'problems' and teenage anxieties, just not today.

Just insert your preferred way to say that companies need to make money in order to stay in business and keep their employees.
Just like your company I'm sure.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."
Still on the fence, need to watch some more videos for infos on stuff i'm insterested in, but couldn't figure out on my own this weekend. I will see that i get it for free or at a huge discount and take it like another F2P game from there on.
Voted definitely - 1.) I'm reviewing it. 2.) I actually quite like the early game. It's the late game that I have to worry about.
I've heard around that sometimes you get paid to do a good review. I like this game, so how much do you charge for an ~8.5? I'm willing to donate since I am not sure the "fate" or "status" of Koreans will allow them to pay you for that.
Sorry I am still suffering from some of the stuff mentioned in other posts. o.O

PS - All mammals have nipples.
Get over it already.
You know as good as i that 60% will have left, that would be the case even if the game had any endgame content not even PvPers will bother for longer.

I also never saw this happen on korean servers.

Verdict here? Fun!
