That isn't how burden of proof works, you have to prove the positive (in this case that the money went into said door) You are making the accusation (you as in the group).

They already said it was a modified garage door opener, so find the most expensive one of those and that's the max price, find the cheapest and that's the least expensive, and then find somewhere in the middle and that's the likely.
