Why? Steam is an excellent platform and is honestly one of the reasons PC gaming is so great.

As for ToS, I like the game but the respawn times just kill it for me, they're so bad for most the game.

I also don't plan to download it cause i don't use steam

Dependes of what antivirus you use, cause sometimes some antivirus detects steam like a troyan or a malware is not true for example PSafe total detects EVERY fucking single sofware like troyan or malware even Nvidia experience, also norton.

The only thing that is turning me off from this game right now that happens no matter what server I am on, my character keeps rubber banding backwards. It is very annoying. Otherwise, it does bring me back to my Ragnarok Online alpha beta days. I also love the variety of classes you can choose from. But fix the server stability!

Enjoyed the game for a while but got tired of waiting for respawns. Then you also have people run through and try to kill steal instead of just grouping. Isn't a bad game when you don't have time to really play much. But not something I would sit and play for hours.

It was a complete 9/10 for me under the CBT 2, but in the headstart it went downhill fast with really bad servers that couldn't handle the traffic, the bot rampage that went overboard, the insane restrictions for F2P AND P2P people. They have a lot to work on for sure and the game it self is great, just not all the things around it.

I've tended to ignore PC Gamer ever since they rated Spiral Knights a 51 in a hatchet job of a review that was largely a rant about how the reviewer didn't like a business model he didn't understand and had more glaring factual errors than paragraphs.  I don't feel a need to check back and see if they now require reviewers to actually play a game for a few hours before posting the final review.

Having a visual handicap that can't be remedied by glasses, i can't get into the game due to the very small fonts and the lack of font and UI scaling. Too bad, because the game looks like fun

Pile of junk a 1/10 and deserves nothing better because it does everything about as bad and cheap as can be done,like a game that cost maybe 20k to make.

Literally no customization,no stats to customize either.As i expected yet again another Archer with NO AMMO,how lazy are these developers getting geesh.

Get in game and see a typical cheap no camera game,similar to Moba's.I see chat has nothing but gold selling spam,there is no other chat as global chat needs to be purchased lmao,so obviously ZERO GM support,nobody from this publisher cares about their own game,so why should anyone else?I wasted no time at all in exit and delete from my Steam library,really hard to believe this site has it's lackey's try to advertise this low budget game.

"easy entry" well that is for certain,it does nothing so yes it is VERY easy to play .

The OP's review is a fair assessment. I'd give it a 9 on visuals and a 5 on polish. I think a new category named System Optimization should be added just for ToS, in which case I'd give it a 2

Still I haven't had this much fun in years. Just hope they quickly fix many bad decisions like: no LFG channel, options that actually help FPS, limited off auction trading, little endgame, bad world boss loot priority system, not using multicore processors wtf, inactive GM's and so on.

I love the visuals but i had to stop playing. It can be a fun game to play with some friends but they need to optimize it more. The game showed over 100FPS at all times but gameplay always felt below 30FPS. I love the fact that it plays really well with a gamepad too.

Seriously Victor, how can you give it a 7.6?????  Far too many issues at present.  This game is more an Alpha than anything else.  They never bothered to get rid of some of the serious bugs and there are tons of minor ones.


At best it is worth a 3 or 4 and that is being kind.

I have been playing quite a bit since it went f2p. As some have mentioned, the restrictions are a bit ridiculous but if don't really have huge expectations, its not much of a problem.

However, I do find myself wishing I had a partner to play with. There are so many insanely good duo combos to make the grind less harsh. I have solo'd three characters to about lvl 60 and while I know that is nothing compared to cap level, it has slowed down quite a bit already.

Anyone looking for a partner to grind mobs or try and duo dungeons? I have a tank, healer, and a dps/support. All of them are equally fun, I just feel like it would be even better with a friend...

I am having tons of fun with this game, enougth content considering just launch, Music is AMAZING and the anime style. Combat is fun and classes give u lots of options about how u want to play. The FPS issues hopefully will be fix somehow. Leveling is not soooo hard but still requieres time from u. Grind is not a thing if u focus on doing both initial cities quest lines and all the quest on every map. Achivements helps with silver and exp.

Is hard for me to have this fun after sooo many years playing MMOs (L2, Aion, Tera, Wakfu, Gw2, TSW, WoW, FFXIV, Archerage a bit, Blade & Soul a Bit, Ragnarok, Dragon Nest... etc etc) But this one is giving me a good time: 8/10 for me
