OP says any MMORPG and you still managed to screw it up, lol. Impressive.
Anywho, I'm with Kyleran on this one. Gotta go with EVE (current version) as I would want something awesome with a lot of meat on the bones to pass the time.
If i am on a dessert island, i want a game that i actually like, so what is wrong with stretching the definition of MMORPG for my eternal happiness?
One thing I'm sure of, if I had a choice between you or a volleyball on the island with me, I'm going with "Wilson"

Lol.
There's a no brainer if I ever saw one.

Because a term that can have its meaning changed isn't definite. You cannot argue what the definition of "definition" is. Just like society agrees to follow the law because they don't want to live in chaos like the third-world.
What's with people like you and hijacking words, anyways? Ever thought of creating something of your own and calling it whatever you like? Or is chaos the order for the day?

The feeling is mutual. I guess great minds think alike!

I can. And i just did.
Plus, i am not the only one who is doing it. Just like this site classifies The Division as a MMOTPS.
This site isn't any kind of authority in industry standards. They can list Tic-Tac-Toe Online, for all I care. Doesn't mean that game is a MMORPG.
You are feeding it , most of us here no not to feed it , it has baited you with the same repitive shtick that it spews out from under its bridge each day . Baiting the innocent into its dull and reduntant agenda driven drivel of nonsensical idiocy ....
Eve Online. Most other games seem to be somewhat ephemeral in nature, enjoy them while you can is pretty much your only real option, but with Eve Online though, you can be fairly sure it will be there in another 10 years time, and its one of the very few games out there that really supports the diverse kind of gameplay i enjoy.
Sorry, I simply can't ignore how illogical this proposal is. Why'd I play an mmo on a vacant island? I'd enjoy the nature etc.
Well sure, I'd prefer a young, attractive "girl Friday" but if all I have is a magical laptop, (hey, it's more likely than the girl) then I'll stick with EVE.

I'm having a hard time connecting the dots with this hypothetical situation. If I had Internet, I wouldn't actually be stranded under any situation I can imagine.
Now......do I get to choose someone to be stranded with? Because that could make MMOs irrelevant altogether.
Any game that has an ingame /pizza ordering system that will actually deliver food, clothing, water, drinks, building supplies, medical supplies, air conditioner, generators, gasoline and furniture so I can actually enjoy playing the MMORPG.

If it'll only be for a short time I'd choose City of Heroes / Villians
..oh wait...
