Hysterical - just drawn images no game play. Just what I expected - more hype, no meat. These threads by the 'notorious few' all seem to be doing the same thing...
Please, let us not build up game hype like GW2, SWTOR, and TSW were. People please learn from the past. Actually, in thinking about it, this game already does have more hype than GW2, so I guess when it doesn't deliver, like they all do, people will whine like little girls.
Seriously, they should double the size of the bug smasher team.

Having TrackIR back in game is very nice, just a shame it took so long. I believe at the moment it doesn't take your helmet into account so your vision gets obscured when you turn your head past a certain degree. Hopefully they get on top of that asap.
I know this is just a soft trolling attempt but what's so surprising that a game in alpha stage has bugs and glitches?
You guys and your assumptions.... it is not soft-trolling at all.
I was genuinely surprised how glitchy things are because people talk about how this game is already better quality than other games and CIG talk about delaying builds so that they can deliver a product of the high quality their backers have come to expect.
Ok I agree it's not really a soft-trolling, more like a poor attempt of trolling.
I've just posted some video examples of several award winning games with bugs and glitches, should I generalize those too?
And yes in terms of alphas the game is pretty good already. Complaining about bugs and glitches is laughable specially after the release of Andromeda lol
Yes, people talk, that's here, the subreddit, the official forums etc.
The only issue is you taking offence and trying all manner of deflection. There's nothing wrong with the game being that glitchy, I was just surprised that was the case after reading examples where people said the opposite. Big fucking deal...

If you see a glitch, fill out a bug report and send it in to the SC Issue Council. Like the rest of the mature Alpha playtesters are doing.
Actively help to make the game better and eradicate all bugs found.

Not even allowed to make an innocuous comment about a video without being told to be quiet or that
saying anything publicly is immature. Talk about over-sensitivity...
I know how they try to get around legal rights, which alone should send them a visit from legal firms for trying to circumvent the law. What they do is dare not send us any legal documents because that would be PROOF they are trying to circurmvent the law,so what they do is just contact Google or You Tube or web site, which is low balling tactics.
Here is the actual law,Chris Robert's team does not make the law.
The fair dealing provisions in sections 29, 29.1, and 29.2 of the Copyright Act permit
dealing with a copyright-protected work, without permission from or payment to the
copyright owner, for specified purposes. These purposes are research, private study,
education, parody, satire, criticism, review or news reporting. According to the Supreme
Court of Canada the fair dealing exception is “always available” to users, provided that its
legal requirements are met.
You cannot use too much copyright material, this is all risk, there is no definitive amount like 1 mb or 100 lines of text,it would fall under the courts determination if too much was used.ALL of the law surrounding copyright is not definitive,it is always open to interpretation by the courts.
This is why sites like this can do previews, reviews criticism of games without any permission. If it was under NDA that is not a totally binding contract either and can be broken for several reasons concerning public health, safety or even if they were purposely trying to deceive people or commit fraud ,including the person agreeing to the nda then in case not only would their NDA be void, they would be liable to penalty.
This is my fave, this is your LEADER of the team lmao.

It's obvious it was the very first time he was looking at this hot mess and couldn't wait for the ordeal to be over. But yeah this is his dream project, his sistine chapel, the achievement of a lifetime without which pc gaming would be dead. lol

Where did I said that the video was not glitchy? How's that even a point to begin with? I'm not taking offence or defending anything, I'm simply laughing yet again at your poor attempt to troll by trying to use a video of a game that is known to be in pre-alpha with a glitch and using that to leverage some kind of reasoning out of it. Yes it's a game in development, yes it's supposed to have bugs.
As you might have ignored the fact that I just posted several clips of finished and released multi award winning AAA games that also have said glitches and bugs.

So why take issue with the video and try to make excuses for it if you're not defending or taking offence?
You want to accuse me of trolling when it wasn't a troll post at all. If it was a troll post I would have put a bit more effort into it than that. I was legitimately surprised at the current state of the game, I expect some bugs but the whole thing was a mess almost from start to finish.
If making an observation is akin to trolling no wonder you see haters everywhere. I suppose next you'll be calling my ATV threads a troll post.... lighten up already.

But I have no issues with that video or any other thousands of bug/glitch videos of video games around the web.
What I find humorous is the low effort putted when you pretend to be surprised that a game in pre-alpha game has bugs or glitches, it's telling really how deluded most are about Star Citizen development. Yes video-games in development are supposed to break that's why they are in development right? Trying to make it like a 5 minute video of one player corresponds to the game state is not only disingenuous but also dishonest.
Didn't you watch the posted videos of bugged players in Zelda, Uncharted, Witcher etc? Go on youtube and you find videos of bugs and glitches from probably any game.
Would you go post those in the game's respective threads and say "Surprised how glitchy things are" and be taken seriously?

Duh O.o
Therein lies the problem. You're making an assumption that it's a "low effort putted when you pretend to be surprised" despite me explaining more than once that it is not that.
As I already said, I see quiite a few posts on these forums, the subreddit and the official forums claiming how this game is better than many other AAA games, that CIG take more time to make sure it's less buggy etc, based on those comments I was surprised at how buggy it was. Not a difficult concept to understand unless you're just being awkward for the sake of it.

As an example take Witcher 3 .. a REALLY good game in my opinion .. with comparatively few bugs.
But in a DLC the developers made an insider joke about themselves and their inability to eradicate all bugs, as you as the Witcher are talking to your own horse in a drug-induced state ... and the horse chats with you about those typical bugs (not being able to jump over a low stone wall, horse backside clipping into the hill while riding down the hill, horse being able to swim across oceans etc.)
Games - including Star Citizen - will always have some bugs.
If people want less bugs in a game - they should volunteer for Alpha and Beta playtesting.

Thank you for helping in testing the game.

You can find T-pose bugs and others glitches in most released AAA games why would expect anything else in a game in development lol?
- Zelda:Breath of the Wild
- The Witcher 3
- Uncharted 4
- Overwatch
Just as some examples (you can find it from pretty much any game with walking avatar)
And you can be you will see T-pose on ED holograms when they learn to walk, if that ever happens...
Now for some cool clips:
