Many of islamic clerics in England made sites that said to start jihad against the UK. Some even made plans to bomb landmarks. Yet very few got deported because that would be mean to the islamic religon. Hell, many of my english friends said the city was more pakistanti then it was true english anymore.

I'd be careful there if I were you, if you want to take credit for what your country has done in the past, you have to take credit for all of it, I think you'd find that the entire image isn't always as pleasing as the Americans riding to the rescue. Which of course isn't fair, I think you judge people or a country for that matter on it's current society and I genuinely believe that all sensable American people want to live in a peaceful time and help others acheive just that, which is extremely comendable.
Either way, it's the biggest shame in the world that innocent people get hurt on days like today for what other people may or may not believe, it's so sad that things like this happen in a society that is trying so hard to create something better.

Was thinking that myself. The G8 is being held in Scotland I beleive and not london, so it wouldn't make sense to hit London unless they are just trying to undermine Blaire.

And it could have very well been done by the government itself so that the people demand that Blair not worry about Africa and worry about Iraq instead. That way he makes you think it's you who is determining his course of action and not Blair himself. After all, it's easier being a dictator when the people think you're doing it for their benefit.

you want simple? take care of our country first then sparingly help the rest of the world if they want our help. but most of the world doesnt want our help people just dont see it. improve on democracy show how good it can be then help not force the rest of the world if they would like our help. plane simple stay out of other countries crap until we are better off.

I am going to that part of london in the near future, and I belive that this will not happen again in London. In previous attacks it seems as if that there were attacks in one place, then they would not attack same place because of the increase in security there. The USA has done a great job increasing security here just after the attacks were known of. I applaud the US on their attempts to make this a better place, and I hope that this doesnt happen again, as I know that many were injured and killed, and this affected many people.

I am not prejudice torwards al-Quaida's so-called religious beliefs. That would imply that I was making accusations towards them before knowing their cause.
