Still going to wait for the reviews, a price drop, and a new computer.

We're not even getting review copies (no one is), which says "hmmm" but, I'm still hopeful. I'll buy it if word is good. EDIT: Forgot to add I'm glad it's 3 days later on PC. Makes it better for us who want to wait.

Always a bit worrying when they don't send out release copies and make everyone wait till release day to do reviews.  A massive RED flag that says SOMETHING IS WRONG!

Good thing the PC release is a little later then the PS4.

Same feelings here. I think a lot of people are going to be let down, hard, after all the hype surrounding this game.

Is a man not entitled to the herp of his derp?

Remember, I live in a world where juggalos and yugioh players are real things.

I can see this game not lasting. People want Multiplayer in their games nowadays. Boredom in Space will cause many to quit sooner rather than later due to the lack of MP.

I think it would go a long to even just add a few small social options such as sector chat or various chat servers and player trade items for those who want to use it. What comes to mind is Anno Online and their little chat option. Use it if you want, make friends, or don't.

I'm glad some people are still hopeful but personally after living through the whole cycle hype/reality/implosion of Spore I fail to see how this game is going to turn out any different. And honestly I think the brunt of the blame lies more with self deluding fans than with the developer this time round.

    It's all good now ^^

Really man ? really did you read the patch notes every thing everything got reworked at least for me all my concerns vanished . My adventure will be amazing if these maniacs pulled such a day 1 patch only God know what to expect from the next one ......just to remind every one Gw2 was barely functional after release Eso people were stacking at questing constantly and Pvp was a mess ... The leaks didn't to a favor to the players but Hello game got my trust with this day 1 patch

The PC release delay screws me up a bit. I work weekends and just happened to have Tues-Thursday off, so was excited for the 9th. Then they change it to the day I start working. RIP pre-order and false release dates. Now I have to avoid streamers I normally watch to evade spoilers.

Bought a second monitor and a 1070 for this. :) Can't wait! (and playing Abzu in the meantime)

I'm excited but I'm a late comer to the hype train only following this the past month or so.  Still so much to do in Fallout 4 and of course still enjoying ESO.   I have 130 hours so far in Fallout 4 and just now have touched the main story.  I tend to pick up single players games way past official launch...unlike MMOs where I usually do follow the hype train and tend to be there the moment the servers go live.

The game does look interesting to me and for one who loved and got many hours out of Spore (another game I just picked up well after launch), I have a feeling that I will get many hours of enjoyment from this one.  It would be nice to add some multiplayer features though, even if it were chat.

I understand why they want to do a wipe, leaked ps4 copy, but hows that affect pc users. WIll pc users be on the same servers as PS$ users and thus at a disadvantage when it comes to getting somewhere first etc etc?

People are going to be disappointed, but that's expected of shallow sandbox games. No press reviews, no open beta, and a $59.99 price tag? Sounds like a quick cash grab to be honest.

edit: changed "scam" to "cash grab".

Between leaked streams of NMS, and the day one patch notes, I'm sold.

Patch notes for those that are curious.

Dont think it works like that Asm0, its basically a singleplayer game so there aren't advantages or disadvantages.

I was referring to the if you get to such n such planet first you get to name it mechanic, also I read even if you play offline there's a syncing thing that will happen or something.

Some wild fanboys on this site lol. If they weren't so ridiculous I'd swear they are actually paid by these game devs. A day one patch isn't extra content a dev gets a pat on the back for, it's just fixes that should already be in the $60 game.
