15 years of UO, 10 years of EVE, like 4 years of WoW, man pretty disgusting to think of the hours sometimes . What a damn blast though those first 15 man, my god best gaming time ever.
Huh, well I have about 1,400 hours in skyrim so probably that game. As far as mmo's over 4 years in lineage 2 and probably about that in lotro.
LOL I had more hours than that on one character in CoH! My Invul/SS tanker had about 1700 hours. Fire/EM tank was almost 1000 hours. Energy/Energy blaster was about 900 hours. My Emp/Rad Defender was well over 1000 hours (a level cap well setup emp healer barely had time to sit down at the table in that game), I played his so much I lost track. My Darkety Dark Dark Scrapper was probably 600 hous.
CoH had a nice mechanic, you clicked on a passing citizen with a name starting with 'M' he told you how many hours that character had been played.
The world is going to the dogs, which is just how I planned it!
Played more than a few MMO's over the years. Eve Online, 12 years Everquest 3-4 years, seems like an age ago now, but it was my first 'huge' MMO, and i quickly fell victim to Evercrack. SWG from Beta 3 until the NGE, like many SWG'ers i suspect. WoW, for over 8 years i think, not sure exactly when i started playing.
But pretty much any MMO i get into i go a little overboard, its a shame BDO went the way it did, it was a strong contender for most of my future game time. yes, still salty about BDO, curse you Kakao games you done f'd it up, to quote Angry Joes (in)famous sayings.
World of Tanks Counter-Strike Beta Command and Conquer Command and Conquer Red Alert Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 Command and Conquer Generals Star Wars the Old Republic
Played from release through til end of Isenguard with just 8 months off for WAR. Average 4hrs / day whilst I was playing that game iirc, so a couple of 1000 hours logged.
SW:TOR probably next, played that for 13 months before quitting, though admittedly with so little content my hours / day were a lot lower.
On the single player front, I expect FF7 to be up there. Each playthrough takes ~30hrs and have probably played it through 10+ times in my life. Morrowind probably isn't far behind but have no way to track it. Total Warhammer is currently top of my steam list, but share the game with my brother as his pc can't handle it.
DOW2 is also up there. Between base game (~40hrs), first expansion (~20hrs) and retribution (~120hrs) its probably my most played steam game for just me.
Currently Playing: WAR RoR - Spitt rr7X Black Orc | Scrotling rr6X Squig Herder | Scabrous rr4X Shaman
Looks like my most played non-MMO is Fallout 4 with 136 and counting.
That's fascinating as I have at least triple the amount of hours in FO3 and FO:NV than FO4. I just found FO4 to be... uninteresting compared to the last two. Right after I got through the main story the first time I quit and haven't had the urge to launch it again.

I always wanted to get into LotRO. I downloaded it on two separate occasions now and didn't get very far out of the starting town either time. There's just something so bland about it for me that I can't put my finger on. I really want to experience the rest of the game world, but I don't want to trudge through the low levels and completely learn another new MMO.

I was lucky with the game when I played. I'd only played SWG before but was relatively casual, so LotRO was kinda my first dedicated MMO.
The game world is kinda bland. It's low fantasy and middle earth is quite dreary, plus the gameplay is quite slow-paced compared to modern MMOs so it would be hard to get into compared to a lot of other MMOs.
However, at launch the game was very group orientated and skill-based. Gear counted for very little and you couldn't progress without grouping up a lot. It made the game very satisfying to play - in addition to exploring middle earth which was exciting by itself, for the first 9 months of the game I was constantly learning new things and experimenting with new ways to play my class. It is the most intellectually stimulating MMO I've ever played. With each new expansion, they'd also rework some fundamentals so you'd get a new learning experience. Some expansions it would be how the underlying stats work. Some would be reworking classes and trait trees.
These days, thats not the case. Even before I quit, they'd dumbed it down a lot so the only challenge came from group content, but even then it was easier. They nerfed the meta-game too. If you try to play it now, you're playing it for the stories and world but being an old MMO, it doesn't look all that great.
If they ever decide to launch a legacy server then it'll be worth giving it a go. I'd also suggest playing a support class (captain / loremaster / burglar) as they are the most interesting mechanically and they really highlight the possibilities of a game that doesn't rigidly stick to the trinity.
If you want to play it now, still go with a support class for the fun, probably loremaster or burglar, just recognise you're gonna be solo til cap. Level 25 - 65 (north downs to lorien) is all great content. North Downs is just really pretty, Angmar is dark and evil and Carn Dum is excellent world building and a great 6man instance. Forochel is a great icy wasteland, Moria is...well, moria! Lorien also looks stuning, just sadly not much content.
After Lorien, quality drops off rapidly. Mirkwood is an exercise in pointless quest hubs and zones with Isenguard not much better. I quit after Isenguard but not heard good things about following content (Rohan + Gondor).

Neverwinter Nights 1 and Neverwinter Nights 2 multiplayer persistent worlds since 2003.
Lately I've been spending a lot of time in Elder Scrolls Legends. It's the game where Elder Scrolls meets Magic the Gathering. I started playing ESL when it entered open beta two months ago and have already played a few thousand matches. The game is going to be released during the next few months.
Hmmm I would say on mmo's SWTOR, Vanguard, Lotro, Heroes of the Storm, and single player- X com games, Dragon age games, mass effect games, Witcher games
Think my most single player game time is Skyrim or Civ in the low 100s. MMOs are way up there though. Played EQ1 for a few years and my main had a little over 80 days of playtime. Played WoW through WotLK and my main is a little over 100 days. Currently have been playing FFXIV and looks like my only character is close to 131 days of playtime, so about 3137 hours. Of course a bit of time in MMOs is waiting, just like now as I'm typing this I'm waiting in a dungeon queue.
For all PC games, if you count all versions of Civilization, then it's #1, easily. Individually ranked, it's probably Civs 3, 1, 4, 2, 5, then CivWin. I'll probably start my Sid Meier's diet soon (Civ 6). You could probably stick Empire in that list as a Civ-precursor. The 2nd most time I probably have in Master of Magic. Then EQ1, then X-Com (all versions combined), then LotRO.
So my top 5 (spanning almost 40 years of computer gaming) would be.
Going by hours, since years is just plain inaccurate.
Neverwinter Nights - The largest by far. I played on a daily basis for the better part of six or seven years. I wouldn't be surprised if I broke 3000 hours on this title.
FFXIV - Between both 1.0 and ARR/Heavensward, about 1200 hours.
Skyrim - In terms of time spent playing, I have around 1000 hours on this title. If you count time spent modding, that would probably be closer to 1500.

Fave Five:
1: SWTOR- 546 hrs
2: DDO- 369 hrs, haven't played in years
3: ESO- 281 hrs
4: GW1- 276 hrs haven't played in years
5: SWG - 245 hrs
GW2 is just 2 hours behind SWG. Looks like my most played non-MMO is Fallout 4 with 136 and counting.

FFXI (Maybe a year logged there)
Diablo II (Maybe another years of time there)
FFXIV (Maybe 200 days)
FFX (160 hours)
There are MMORPGs that have probably more, but many of the ones I have played haven't got recorded hours so it's hard to judge.

5. PWI.
