New mmo that my old guild leader is making.

Game Features
Currently four unique races and two sub-races per race
Each race has racial stats that affect classes
All races are faction-less with no restrictions of playing with friends
Four PvP and PvE balanced classes which are customizable with cross-class branching systems
PvP based outside of safe zones
Karma based Player Killing system
High enough karma causes guards to attack on sight
Gathered resources can be looted from your corpse when killed
PvE in the open world and dungeons
Marriage and child system (same sex marriage included!)
Interactive environment (falling objects can kill)
Guilds can capture and control castles set throughout the world
Fully fleshed out MMO systems including mounts, pets, guilds, and more.
Combat
Multiple combat options including tab target, WASD, and click to move
Active and reactive based combat with interrupts, stuns, crowd control, and more
The World
Massive open world
Many open world bosses on a massive scale
Land and sea exploration and combat
Very limited fast travel
Resources must be transported, and are vulnerable to attack. Can upgrade guards to transport resources via a caravan system, but is still vulnerable to be attacked and looted.
Node System:
Game has no premade towns or npc areas outside of starting areas
By progressing objectives in areas in the world npc areas will begin to pop up
By progressing further, these areas will develop into larger and better designed and defended villages and towns
You can purchase land in these towns in both outdoor plots (limited) or instanced areas.
Land can be customized with homes, crafting stations, farms, etc
Design and look of towns will be based on which race contributed most to the node’s current progress stage (and can change if later stages are progressed more by other races
Nodes are PvP attackable with sieges (on a countdown timer) and resources stored in banks/warehouses/homes are at risk to be lost during these sieges (defend your homes!)
Nodes have different types that change what they can do and benefits they give
Activating a node disables nodes in the area, preventing them from progressing until current node has been destroyed.
Resources or monsters in the area may change based on which node is active and at which stage it stands
The Team
Team of industry veterans who have worked on a multitude of games and MMOs making the game they want
Funded by one individual, not a full company with an agenda and sales target numbers
Being created with input from the community to create a game everyone wants to play
Payment Model
Subscription based model, no box fee $15/month
Cash shop for purely cosmetic items
No pay to win or pay for advantage items (not eastern mmo)

Anyway. Keep us posted. I have a lot of games I'm watching right now but this seems like one I'll check in on again if I'm reminded of it closer to it's release.
What about building underground structures? or Inside a mountain.
Kind of like a bomb shelter, it would make more sense for houses for those that can afford it, to build in a safer way, near a city or in 1, or just underground.

Would rather have B2P than sub. I know people on this forum like subs, but they are waste - 180.00 per yr vs one price. Sorry 180 USD a year is a lot to spend ON ONE GAME. In 5 yrs that is 900 USD. I can buy more games for that price. Netflicks is cheaper and gives you more choice than ONE GAME.

Buy to Play is only a viable model when you have a world that's scarce on content and does not receive frequent updates or when you go the ESO route of basically gating a Freemium MMO behind a Buy to Play wall.
There is a reason why everyone loves it, and it's essentially the same reason that everyone would love every game to be free to play with no paid subscription or cash shops you can use to get any advantage. Buy to Play just gives people the illusion they have actually paid a fair price for the content of an MMO that has ongoing development costs.
Until Unicef get's into the MMO business you will never see a good Free to Play or Buy to Play MMO.
How can people laugh and say 15 Dollars per month is A lot of money for entertainment ?? Don't you make more then 15 dollar in 1 hour at your job ?
$15 per 30 days is not a lot of money for doing ANYTHING hahahah

guess you never enjoyed playing Everquest games its always been like that for Everquest games
I love to hear stuff like action/reaction/stuns ,i also hope there is accuracy but my only issue is it seems like 100% manual aim which i am not a huge fan of unless a fps type game.
However combat looks to be no spam,that is a huge plus in my books,i hate all the garbage game design i have seen of late,spam spam spam ; ;
So i can carry a similar applause and wish him luck and hope the game continues to look promising.
Subscription based ,yep another plus,i can't nor do i feel like posting 3 paragraphs as to why subscription and ZERO cash shop is the proper way to go.
