Looks pretty fun. Not a big fan of constant pvp though. Is there enough content to keep a PVE player happy?
Yep. Torval is a player of the game and in our guild. He is not a PvP player. A load more content has been added over the last couple of months just for PvE players.
Ooh, I'll need to check it out again then. Bought in a while back but was playing completely solo and would've liked to have more options for PvE content in that situation.

I enjoyed the dungeon runs solo, duo, and in a group. I'd like to run some of the harder dungeons so I can focus on and practice a more specialized spec.
I'll probably try it again after that final wipe you mentioned next month. I'll PM you here to give you a heads up and offer my help for some dungeon running. I think this is a game I could get into, but not unless I have some comrades to play with. The grind is really real, but the depth and PvP seems so worth it.
Just marked my calendar and wrote "Avoid at all cost". Just a poor excuse for a MMO.
O'rly? Can you please tell the rest of us what this poor excuse for a MMO means in more detail?
To MadFrenchie ->Sure like to know what your idea of depth is because it is just a very primitive game. UO or Runescape would be a step up.
Gold sellers abound already, you can bet there will be a plethora of people abusing pvp with cheats because the small team does not have the resources to control them. The game has a litany of problems which are not worth listing. If you like a very simple game this is probably for you, but remember it is full loot pvp(you lose everything on death including your mount) and you cannot avoid pvp. Joining a guild is a must in this game, solo play is very risky.

Gold sellers in a game where you can buy gold directly from the company. #alrightythen
I am excited for it to finally release. I played the first beta, and enjoyed it a lot. However, I didn't want to progress a lot just to lose it all from a wipe so I decided to wait until release. Glad they took the time to polish up the game as well!
Is this the game that was free to play, then changed their mind and changed to buy to play?
They had originally planned on the game being F2P when it launches, but decided against it.
I'm guessing they will go the "lets squeeze what b2p money we can out of this" then go f2p to bring in more players after a few months
Wouldn't be too hard to do. They already have a cash shop and premium subscription system in place. Switching to F2P would be as easy as just removing the entry fee.
And as many have said before me, because they dragged this out for so long no one actually cares it's launching.
Albion is like the nervous boyfriend that buys the ring and holds onto it for 10 years. The problem is when he finally asks, she's too busy screwing his best friend to care.
The game in its current state is quite bad. It is the farmville of facebook with some combat scattered around and a lot of grinding. The population is mostly gone, and there will be only a few thousand left after the release so I see F2p and cash shop in the future.
